I cancelled my order through 4wheelparts for the RE lift today. Still on backorder and they keep changing the date for when it's supposed to ship. Called Desert Rat and they're bringing a 3" Teraflex from Phoenix. I pick it up Saturday. Think I'm gonna be glad I switched to a Teraflex after all the reviews I've been reading up on em.

I also did a "no no" that has the JK parked for a little while, but I need the money for the lift install.

I DO NOT recommend putting 35's on one stock mind you. I'm not going to drive it like this save to get it down to Desert Rat for the lift install which is only about 3 miles away. But I need the money from the old tire set to do that, so she's sittin in the carport for a little bit now. Sometimes ya just gotta do what ya gotta do.

Honestly, it's not as tight as you might expect. Tightest spot is in the rear where the rock rail sits. There's only about 3/4" space there. Everywhere else was actually alright. I foresee having to trim those even after the lift. I didn't even get rub when I was turning to back into the carport. And I intentionally cranked it as far as it would go while my buddy was watching closely in both front wheel wells just to see how bad the rub would be. Kinda weird, but meh still don't wanna risk it.

As a side note, I did get the 48" hi-lift to fit under the back seat of my 2011. It was a little tight, but it did fit.

Cleaned out and organized the garage so I could park the Jeep inside.

I did this last August, right before picking it up, and somehow the garage piled up with stuff again. Going to try to not let that happen again. The kids have been warned. We'll see how long it lasts.

Should have my winch tomorrow and rain in the forecast. At least I'll have somewhere to do the install!

put in spidertrax 1.5" spacers to better fill out the pocket flares i put in last week. looks a lot better. read a lot of good and bad about spacers, but i like my 17" stock rims, so i'll give them shot and torque regularly

Hmm, I just checked for recalls on mine (also a 2010) none listed, guess I got lucky or they haven't gotten to me yet.

Did you remove the logo and badge to plasti-dip, or taped around them? I want my logo done, but when I opened the can of plasti to start "painting" it on (after I had taped all around), because it's so hot here, the dip just started to congeal, and I didn't want to risk it. Think I might need to buy the spray instead.

Definitely go with the spray! The can is for dipping the handle of tools and such. Just tape off around the emblem a bit. Doesn't have to be right up against it and is actually best if it isn't! Spray on several light coats. Remove tape and peel off excess. Done.

Did the gutter guard grill mod. Looks soooo much better

Also watched the "Keep it tight" series from Wayalife on Youtube, which put me into a medical state known as "my pockets aren't deep enough to even think about creating a machine of that caliber."

I've been watching those, they are very cool. There is another series they did called "Pilgrimage to the Promise Land"

Also, Not to my JK but for my JK, I made reservations for the Bantam Jeep Festival in Butler, PA this summer. bantamjeepfestival.com/

It's raining again in N. Idaho so I put the hard top back on. It's been off the last two days! I love my harken hoist!!! Also pulled the trigger on (5) new set of wheels/tires! It should be here next Friday.

Replaced Mamba MR1 wheel centers with Jeep centers

Pic One = Mamba center in the wheel
Pic Two = New Jeep center and O ring, due to the Jeep centers being slightly smaller than the Mamba centers.
Pic Three = How the parts install on the wheel
Pic Four = Presto finished product, Jeep center in wheel!

Mamba MR1 wheels $159.00 each
Jeep Centers $10 each
O rings $0.91 each
Finished Product...OEM look!
