I just got a welcome and Jeep key chain in the mail from Jeep. That was very nice but my Jeep key won't fit on the ring.

It's a Jeep thing, right?

I was just talking about getting rid of those decals. How did you remove them and did it leave it yellowed?

I got mine and had to remove it because it rested on my leg. Drove me crazy! It's on OCD thing...

Thanks! Next round of mods will have to wait until it warms up outside...will be spray-tinting the taillights, marker lights, and turn signals to give them the smoked look. Gonna plastidip the keyholes and the trail rated badge, and remove the stickers. Then the top comes off and all the white stuff gets a couple coats of Rustoleum spray-on bedliner.

Best way I've found to remove the decals/dealer stickers is warm them up with a blow dryer and they'll peel off easily, no residue left behind at all.

Mothers back to black has worked great for the fender flares, and the bumpers. The stupid factory fenders/bumpers just absorb mud. Was super happy to find Mothers. will work, if something else works better, I'm all ears.

Had done fitment issues, so before I bed line it black, i'm gonna have to call the company tomorrow and figure out what to do. really like the look of it though.
I had the same issues but it really is just standing out because of the color. when fitting it check the right turn signal housing and see if it is hitting when the light is installed in it. I had to modify it a little for that reason but love the look of the grill and have had many compliments of it. Good luck with it.

Heat with a hair dryer and peel. I used goo gone to get rid of residue. Works great.

Did my door skins on the smittybilt tube doors, don't need to look through them they are cut so low I can see where my jeeps at on the rocks.

Plus it'll help keep a bit more junk out.

Here's a shot before the skins , I can always pull rivets but wanted half doors to begin with but not at the half door price. I'm going to rhino line or sound deaden the aluminum this week...

... the first time since I've got it ,there was reached an announced mpg in city mode - 22.2 (weekly) ! Usually I fill tank once a week, each time resetting fuel consumption data. When it was cold - among 0 - 10 F, it didn't make even 19mpg. Some weeks were 17-18. Now it's about 30-32 degree outside , so mpg became more acceptable. Moscow traffic is also a little bit faster these days. Diesel rules

I love those fabbed up half doors bullcrew.

I think a coating over them will really bring it all together nicely.
I'm filing this mod away in my mod bank.

Not technically today, but yesterday... put a maglite flashlight on the driver seat rail and taped two iPod videos to the middle console, one has a bunch of movies and the other all of my songs to use with my new head unit. Sorry about attaching the links, couldn't figure out how to get the image attachment to work.

Flashlight

iPods
