Does anyone have the Rock Slide step sliders? Any thoughts on it? I like the concept but I hate the extra moving parts. Plus they are really expensive.

Once you remove those bottom locking nuts just leave them off, its not like the doors are going anywhere

JKfirefighter, where are you a firefighter? I recently retired with 30 years from Raleigh NC. Still active with a local volunteer dept. Stay safe out there pal.

Got a tracking number for my bumper...that's progress, I guess...feels like months since I ordered it when, in reality, it's only been a week.

You might check into a local Line-X place around ya! They did my whole Jeep! And I have hit some stuff that should have cut or at least scratched it pretty good. And not a mark!

I used Mother's on my truck trim since I bought it. 2000 Ford Ranger- parked outside 100% of the time. It kept the fenders dark grey for a solid 8-9 years. The fenders have finally faded but due to neglect- I can't tell you the last time I sprayed them. I tried 303 on the Jeep but after one mud bath- the dirt just would not come off the 303 coated fenders. I went Back to Black.
I do still use 303 on my soft top.

Yeah I'll look at having the doors done, there's no way lines would have stopped the damage it was pressed in over 2" and almost the length of the rear tub...

Good idea I have a linex company near the house I'll see what they want or drop off the skins to a buddy to have powder coated.

That does look pretty b@d@$$

So did you do everything besides the hinges/handles and mirrors? About how much did that run you, seriously thinking about getting it done. Guess it would be a serious pain to get rid of it if you ever wanted to change it though.
