How big is that star on the hood? I am doing a Jedi symbol there but not sure of size. My jeep has been named red 5 by my boys which I approve of since we all love the saga!

Here is a pic. You have to remove one of the tabs on the side. Also took the air dam off to reach it better. Took maybe 20 mins.
Are these LED bulbs brighter than the stock?

I did most of the labor, and took it all apart and just took them pieces, until all I had left was the body. Cost about $3,500 total. But if I had just dropped it off, would have been $4,500. But it's the premium Kevlar line-x. Guaranteed for life, and will not fade!

It's a lot to do all at once, but in pieces it's really not that bad! In fact I've done several of these for local Jeeps!
And it's $200. Plus your old grill, or $300 straight out! And it's totally covered front and back. (Encapsulated) and just as an example. They encapsulated a $3 styrofoam cooler and I'm 220 lbs and can stand up on it and it not break!

So a new grill is only $100? That seems pretty cheap.

I helped the Fedex guy carry my ACE rear bumper to the garage. Heading to Jeep dealer to pick up OEM fogs for the cut outs!! Now to figure out how to wire them into the reverse lights or a separate switch?? Probably a separate switch so I can use them on the trails...

I think it would be cool to wire them to the reverse lights and a switch.

Wiring them to your reverse lights would be very easy since those wires are so close. Just tap into the wire behind your taillights. But I'm not sure the wiring procedure to add a relay and a switch so that you can do both a switch and connect them to the reverse lights. Darkfire has his wired like this. You may want to consult him on the procedure.

That's what I did with my backup camera

Hooking up a trailer at night, helping someone on a trail who is behind you, blinding a tailgater, lighting a camping spot, tons of reasons why lights are needed. Thats just a few.

its no different than wiring in front lights. id run two wires. one from the battery down the inside of the tub. and follow the brake lights out one will hook to the switch to run 12volt activation signal for the solenoid the other will go direct (fuzed) to the battery. the grounds can be pulled from or tapped to in the back. easy as pie.

I talked to the guys at ACE and they wire them directly to the reverse lights. If light is needed when not backing they put it in reverse. Now to get the lights cheaper online and I am guessing I will need a plug in end for the fogs. Splicing them into the reverse light wires seems easy enough. Thanks for the help!!
