Sort of done Im going to mess with driver side the original damage made it look off with the recess of it and tilt.
Its pushed in and even with banging it out the panel still lays in a smidge, as well as I need to finish grind. Then I'll do the primer and paint to clean it up...probably after JV Saturday...don't want to do it twice

What year is your JK? They changed from a sticker to chemically bonded placards in 2011 I think. Maybe it was 2010. Prior to that you could simply heat them up and peel them off.

I suppose Chryslers' lawyers wised up and recommended a change? lol

Mine is an '09. That probably splains it.

Installed the Drake black grill inserts I got from Extreme Terrain. Sorry for the poor pic, but you know what they look like anyway.

What did you do to your JK today?

New shoes installed. MB TKO 15" with 33/12.5/15 Duratracs. Feels totally different. Oh, and installed a Cobra 75 while waiting on UPS to deliver the tires.

Been saving these mud rovers I got from someone until I finally broke down and installed my 3.5" lift! Check it out, I've loved driving my Jeep since the moment I got her but DAMN I feel like a boss now! Heh and she seems very happy too!

Honestly, I think I wasted my money. Extremely difficult to get adjusted to the right spot, driver's side whistles on the highway, passenger side looks distorted, and yea, they stick out. I bumped into the driver's side mirror getting back into the Jeep this afternoon and threw it all out of whack after almost having it in a good spot.

On the possitive side though they dont vibrate and are very easy on and off. I dig the consept a lot, but think I'll be passing these along to someone else who wants to try and get something different.

Do a search for "Defiant Systems mirrors" here on the forums. I think you'll like what you find...

I really like mine, but I just use one on the driver's side when my doors are off.

Broke my windshield. I was pulling out of a gas station this morning, defroster running and out of nowhere, I hear *TINK* and now have a line in the middle third of my windshield that drops into the lower seal. No rocks, no rock chips, nothing to indicate any weakness in the glass other than a shiny new crack.

Headed to the dealer on Monday so they can investigate, decide if it's a warranty item...

Not today, but yesterday I took out my wire gun brushes and tried scrubbing the rust off my wheels and lugs. I'm disappointed to say the least that my ProComp wheels have rust on them after less than 2 years. I'm thinking I'll be getting new alloy wheels in the future.

I also installed two more overhead push button LED lights on the roof for my daughter's enjoyment when we are rolling down the road.

Alloy wheels suck for keep up, my procomps on my F150 are such a pita too keep from pitting, corroding and just trying to keep the shine. If I get another set of alloys I will spray clear on them before I install them. If you can get your wheels looking not to bad, there is a product called Zoop that is a sealer for alloys. I haven't used it myself but a few guys over on the F150 forums have and said it works very well.

I happened to think that my Wrangler is very fuel efficient so I parked in the designated area. These people are getting more and more ridiculous with their nonsense.

I've got steel wheels right now. What I need to do for now is get each wheel off, scrape the rust off the wheels and lugs (mainly lugs), and then spray everything with bedliner when I'm finished. Of course it might be easier to just buy new lugs and eat the $50 and save myself the scraping headache.

I'd like to find some kind of matte black alloy (that won't cost an arm and a leg) and go with that. I don't like a lot of shine and bling on the wheels.
