Any antenna suggestions?
Stick with a 4ft firestik and be sure to get quality cable and connectors!

The cooltec loc plate mount and kit i would also highly recommend. I had tons of grounding issues with the typical tire carrier gate mounts.

FYI. If you do go with the tire mount antenna bracket, I solved my grounding issues by wire brushing the paint out of the threads on the antenna bracket. That solved my grounding issues. Make sure to get a quick disconnect and forget the spring, 4' antenna wouldn't clear my garage and the spring sprung to much when hitting the trail, scarred up my rear wiper.

That works for the grounding issues normally but in my case it didn't and keying the mic interfered with the can-bus system and caused huge electrical issues. Best we could figure one of the wires in the wiper assembly wasn't ground well or it was just plain feeding back thru the motor leads. Moving it away took care of it immediately.

Good call in your part I'd have done the same thing if my jeep was green.

Put Teraflex 2.5" lift and 35" Goodyear Duratracs on with the Procal. Orange County Jeep Works did all the work, Mike did a great job. Got it back just in time to have the Boss Sport Duty 7'6" plow installed before our latest storm. Got 12" of snow and had lots of fun playing and plowing.

That is awesome! If Northern Delaware ever sees significant snow ever again I would consider this as an option to pick up some extra cash and clean up my neighborhood.

That's what I have, works great, easy install, and has everything you need right in the kit. I love mine.

Took the Freedom Tops off today for the dirve home. Washington State and 55 degrees, just needed a little heat (Lord knows, the thing has plenty to spare) and life was good on the way home.

Gave Poison Spyder our tax return. New rock rails coming for Harley. Tramp stamps, fire extinguisher mounts, and evap skids coming for both.

Don't most women go shopping when that comes in? I help hubby fill online shopping carts for the Jeeps. I think I'm weird.

I for one, think you're totally normal.
I however, have 7000 miles on my Jeep and its in pieces. Gear change, Part 1.
Discovered my AEV diff skid isn't so great. It's slightly short and doesn't fully cover- dumb design. Minor rock crawling beat the diff. up and its leaking slightly. Doesn't matter- adding Arb locker. Included a pic for a demonstration between the housing/carrier on a d30 vs. a d44.
(With 3.21s you have to replace the front carrier.)

Ouchie. The damage is right where the AEV skid stops.

Which antenna mount are you using? The gate or ultra?

Went to test fit my new bumper prior to taking it to be powder coated. Took it out of it's packaging and found a ding in it .

Aww man that sucks so bad Charlie!

I guess that's why they say test fit and inspect these things before coating them. Now the long return and waiting game starts again. I'm almost 2 weeks in to waiting for my JCR sliders.

It does suck. I've been drooling over this bumper for about a year.I finally get it and...poop.

I'm sure they'll make it right, but damn, the thought of having to re-package this thing, ship it back to them and then wait for another does not excite me at all.

Sounds normal to me too /shrug
