Can't you lay it flat and beat it back in shape? Sure would save the time of sending it back, but make sure you raise Cain with the manufacturers and demand a rebate. It will prolly get a ding on the trail anyway.

I don't see any way a regular home-garage mechanic could bang that thick of metal back out. I thought of that initially but I just don't see it happening. And a ding on the trail wouldn't even do that much damage IMO. My PSC Brawler Lite is incredibly stout. It would take a significant impact to bend the 3/16" steel that much.

Jason (Krawl Off Road) is aware of the situation. I'm gonna let him do his thing with JCR and see what options they come up with for me. Jason's customer service has been flawless thus far, and I'm confident he will take care of things.

Makes we wonder how it happened. The packaging didn't indicate any problems underneathe. In fact, the only place the packaging was torn a little was toward the top of the stinger, but when I unwrapped it, the stinger was still flawless.

I mean, I know 3/16" steel is not as stout as some other manufacturers, but still, it must've taken a pretty large fall.

If you adjust the arms/caster properly you can push it back.

Looks like it may have been dropped? I would just try to get $50 back and powder coat over it. If it doesn't hurt the structural integrity, it's really not worth the hassle of return and waiting; at least for me.

That does suck. I had to ship my ace bumper & tire carrier back too - it was no fun. How do u like the bumper otherwise, that one was on my short list?

Is it something the company would pay to have fixed at the powder coating company of your choice. Just an idea. Good luck either way.

Some good suggestions here. I'm gonna see what Jason says. Hopefully I'll have a few options.

As far as structural damage, I'm no expert on the subject, but all the welds appear to be just fine. It really is a nice peice of work.

Sueby, I adore the bumper. Somehow, it looks even better in person. I feel like, in some pics, it looks a little small, but in reality, it's not. It really is beautiful and I would still buy other JCR products...unless they totally screw me on this. I'm keeping the faith at this point.

Oh, and thank you guys for the commiseration and suggestions...I knew you'd understand. It's good to have a Jeep Support Group in these situations, lol.

Installed my VDP stubby bumper end caps last night thanks to some jerk off in a parking lot:

Actually, that would depend on which rear control arms that were included in his 3.5" kit. Moving the axle back requires the longer version of the rear RK LCA's...

Installed these Polk MM6501 component speakers to replace the front 4.

What an incredible upgrade! I'm so very happy with the sound system in my Jeep now.

Painted exhaust and reinstall when dry. Don't really want to put it back on. I love the sound without it. New muffler in the future?? I think so....

How difficult was it to take off and put back on? I was planning to paint mine without taking it off; but, if it's easy, I'll just do what you did...

Not much at all. I just used a sanding barrel attachment on my RotoZip and slightly enlarged the hole until the tweeter flush mount cup fit. I went little by little. Trim it a little larger, test fit, trim, test fit. Going into the job that was the part I thought would be the hardest. It turned out to be very easy.

Rubber holders are tight and just pryed and wiggled it off. I took the drivers side off first then the passenger. 5 minute removal. 10 minute paint and am getting ready to reinstall.

Bye Bye Hood Accessories

I got rid of the Hood Bumpstops and the Footmans Loop. I have no use for these and they just make washing, drying and waxing a PIA. I don't need these do-dads to define the vehicle as a "Jeep."

Use grease on the muffler brackets. Makes them slide off like butter.
