I just painted mine in place and used a piece of box as a block. Easy peasy as my girls would say.

Pulled a 3" screw out of my tire. But I was prepared, I keep a plug kit in my rear storage. If you don't have, get one...

How hard was it to install the grill mesh. Any tips to make it easier? I just ordered the same one. Thanks.

Installed a new soft top to replace the hard top. Went in easily with two exceptions...but got through them. Adding two LED lights. Anyone have thoughts on whether it is better to install on windshield mounts or front bumper?

Mine looked bent, but don't be alarmed it will fit right in. Other than that it was super easy, maybe 45 minutes. I put the screws in backwards which made it tough to put the nut on but it all worked out.

Just take your time with the clips so you don't break them.

That completely depends on their beam pattern.

Spot beams = windshield
Floods/Driving/Fog beams = bumper

Perfect. I don't need spot beams so bumper it is. Thanks!

Discovered a little something about traction control in deep snow. TURN IT OFF! Kept dragging the front right brake, trying to put itself in the ditch, almost smoked the brakes in the process. Once I turned off TC, she was good to go in a foot of virgin snow on top if sand.

Tried to upload a pic. Nevermind.

Would you say it was well worth it? Just doing those speakers with no additional sound upgrades. How much did that job run you?

I can't say if it's worth it in an otherwise stock Jeep. Mine is anything but stock. I have a Pioneer HU pushing the new speakers. I paid $212 for the Polk MM6501 components.
