I got her out on her first set of light to medium trails. I did not take many pics because I was having too much fun driving! I did bottom out one time hard, but for the most part I was able to pick good lines and stay out of trouble.

I now know that I need a set of tires. The stock SRA's did not leave me stuck, but there were a few mud holes that I had to work and slide a bit to get out of.

Performed the side marker mod - soldering wires instead of using a crimp-splice. Followed what Up Hill Bill did in this thread. Thank's for the photos Bill!

Installed Gutter Guard into the grill! I LOVE how it looks and while a bit time consuming, it was very cheap. I think I spent $13 total (I already had JBWeld to affix the zip-tie anchors). Zip ties from Walmart (< $2), anchors from Home Depot (3 bags of 10 @ ~2 and change each) and a 20' roll of Gutter Guard from True Value hardware (< $4). The most time consuming part was removing the adhesive backs from the zip-tie anchors so that the JBWeld would adhere properly. Then, when attaching the mesh, I was trying to maneuver black zip-ties over back plastic mesh on top of a black grill. I was going cross-eyed!

You can't really see it - sorry for the poor quality! It was late and I didn't have much light but I had to take a pic!

Dented the front bumper rock crawling, got home and beat it back out with a dremel hole and a hammer, added some new pinstripes and all in all had a good day

It was warm enough today to finally get my Bestop Supertop NX twill soft top put on. I still had to blast the heater to get the fabric to relax enough so I could get the windows on. Glad it's on and happy with the way a soft top looks on my jeep.

Now it just needs to stretch out some so I can put it down and not have to cuss like a sailer putting it back up!

Picked up a pair of Rubi rock rails off CL. Now I need to clean them up and bolt them on.

Bought new battery cables! They were the wrong kind. It's 10 pm and I have to wait till the morning before i can get the correct cable. Damn that auto parts store. I also have to get my exhaust modified because of the new manifold I installed. "forget about it"

The more I think about this the more I like it. You think it will have any additional value other than looks. How many rattle cans?

It took me 2 1/2 rattle cans of rustolium bed liner. Looks awesome and helps dampen road noise a lot.

So, I installed my new Daystar Hood Wranglers on Saturday. There were a few people a few weeks ago talking about hood flutter. One of the guys said, " just take out the spring under the hood and that will fix it". That did not fix the problem. I did this with the intension of putting on the Hood Wranglers after my drive down to Houston from Dallas.

Jeep really needs to change what they are using on the hood latches. I would advise everyone to change these out, doesn't have to be Daystar, but needs to be something. Just my 2 cents.

At the dealer trying to get my gas tank fixed.....again.

Walked the lot and looked at some 2013s. Poked under a JKUR and was suprised to see an evap "skid plate" and some goofy loop in the exhaust under the drivers side.
