Isn't it funny how one 30 second post can do wonders for your reputation?

Customer service. Know where your customers are. Reach out. It's a shame so many companies lose sight of this.

I'll be browsing the JCR products today.

Phone dock mod

I did this mod a while back but never posted.
I have a Galaxy Note 2, which is really big (Frankenphone), so I bought a Flygrip. The Flygrip basically lest you hold it with one hand no matter what. On the website they show a guy skydiving with a Galaxy sIII. So any way I incorporated that clip into my mod. Here is what I came up with.
It's also really nice for using GPS or Slacker Radio. Nice thing about my Note is I can have two apps open on the screen at once. Quite handy. Also makes for a nice road camera.

I got mine stuck for the first time yesterday. Had my wife and one of my daughters with me. They didn't think it was so fun. Next time, I'm not going by myself. No one there had a truck that could get back to us. We ended up having to hand crank it out with a chain lift.

I know! It was about the worst first impression for them.

A winch will definitely be on the short list

That's on my short list too. I'm looking at the Quadrtec ones. Saw one jam on the trail once but hoping it was a fluke.

We were winching someone up a hill off my back bumper but I was sideways so the tire slipped the bead. It was going fine when he was just using the winch, but he spun his tires a bit & the little yank from that - poof! If he didn't spin his tires it would've been fine - or if I wasn't sideways it wouldn't have happened. Lack of communication really - it was dumb.

For those of you following along - JCR was already working with Jason at KOR (who I bought the bumper from) this morning even prior to their post. Before I even had a chance to call JCR, I had a return label emailed to me. When I spoke to them on the phone, I was told my new bumper was currently being built and would ship as soon as it was finished.

So, thank you JCR and Krawl Off Road for such quick responses to this shipping ding.

I'm sure they'll make it right, but damn, the thought of having to re-package this thing, ship it back to them and then wait for another does not excite me at all.
Going to beat it up again anyways! IMO, mount it and save the hassle!

looks can be deceiving. it really wasnt, the drop into water was a steep hill, i guess when flattening out into it and moving foward caused it to look that way.
