Found that Quadratec had my filler plate needed for my smittybilt rear tubular bumper. It should have came with it as a standard. Cost $25. Extreme terrain doesn't even carry the filler plate for a bumper they sell. ?????

The brown shirted Santa Claus guys showed up today with this. Can anyone guess what I'm doing Saturday?

Too bad my Qtec stuff didn't show up. Apparently my stuff was with UPS and my tow hooks got misrouted and transferred to USPS. They were supposed to be delivered today...hopefully I'll get them tomorrow. Has anyone had something like that happen before?

That just happened to me last week with a package. I was waiting for it and UPS is usually dead on with their arrival estimates. I found out my package was transferred to USPS. I had to call and ask them to deliver it. Turned out to only delay arrival by a day. But still...

Well, I bit the bullet and dropped some cash purchase list to follow:
3.25 rough country lift

Control arms
Stablizer
Kevlar gy mts 34"
Hella driving lights
AntennaX 13"
Engo 10K winch with synthetic cable
Winch plate
Anything else I need?

Bumpers, tire carrier, and to try and get out of that lift. Isn't the 3.25 a spacer lift by RC too much height for some spacers and that company in general.

Ham21, I have a MOAB so already have bumpers. Rock rails, and a rear tire carrier. The lift is shocks and springs.

Ah bingo. The moabs came with a more heavy duty tire carrier? That's what I meant.

I showed my wife your comment and she said, "It really is a sickness, isn't it?" I just smiled and nodded my head.

Out for now. We hadn't taken it out in a really long time and I do not drive it daily. It was just sitting. I will probably get another in the near future. Maybe a TJ or XJ.

I am currently on a different kind of car build.

So nice to see these comments. Waiting on my first Jeep to be built (ordered a '13 JKUR 10A), and find myself irritated that it isn't here as we bear the brunt of this storm, and I'm not able to get out and play in it yet. It's really not that bad as the VW cut through fine, but it would have been much more fun looking for trouble in my new Jeep!

Well after 2 months of wIting for my jeep to get here (Sierra Leone), I finally got it out of its container. Then I noticed 3 little chips on the rear fenders that were not yhere when I delivered the jeep to the shippers in the USA. Oh, and bird poop too lol. Noticed a whole on the containers top rear. Water was all over my storage bins too.
