installed metalcloak seat support. not really a mod, more of a necessity for something overlooked from factory ... actually i guess that could be said about any mod

Got mine for ~$8 off eBay from Steve White Motors. Check any Mopar site and you'll find it.

So, I stood right behind him as he "fixed" it. I didn't realize I should've been overseeing this project from the beginning . Once he pounded off the washers with a mallet, there was bare steel underneathe. Um, yeah, like I said...

I stood next to him looking at the bare steel and said, "at what point do I get reimbursed for the gas it has taken me to keep coming back here?"

He said looked at me... "Oh, I'll be giving you back ALL your money. Is that ok?"

I said, "Thank you, I'll pick it up in the morning...in perfect condition."
Sucks you are having so many problems! At least your getting a refund. Hope it all works out for you!

I'm very pleased I went with the silver. I talked myself out of black, and I almost wish they came in white. I realize that not everyone likes the look of these wheels, but I absolutely love them and AEV's choice of backspacing is perfect for 33 X 11.5 in my opinon - just bulging past the flares without sticking out, and no rubbbing. Could easily run these on stock suspension but the inch and a half gives them a little room to breathe.

I just picked up this bumper off ebay last night. $162.50 for a $400 bumper. I was looking at the crazy stinger type but I live in Florida so really, who am I kidding. Now I might just chop it when it gets here and make it stubby.

I was bidding on this one but it went up to $250 and I quit. I figured I could chop the long one and it would be the same for less. I just got to find end caps.

got my black twill replacement top on yesterday. this thing is nice as hell. wasn't too bad. header was a PITA. It warmed up just enough but it was still a little tight when closing the header levers and i hope the stretching didn't mess anything up. Definitely would have been easier had I been taller or had an assistant!

Enjoy it for the rest of us who are driving around in cold weather. Driving the jeep in the snow is lots of fun.
