Every other section has this stickied so I thought I would start one. Forgive me if its in there already but I could not find it.
Anyway here's what I did.
After removing the different cover for a routine fluid change I decided to paint the cover, it needed a little touching up so I thought I would go ahead and paint it red. I already had some farm equipment paint on hand, I'm pretty sure it will hold up to any temps that might be reached.

grass looks pretty green for middle of December.
Yeah it does...

It has been a pretty mild so far this year. It was 70 in Chicago a few weeks ago. High today was 46 and sunny with no wind out where I'm at. Can't pass that up.....

I bought a roll of weatherstripping from Lowe's, and tomorrow I'm going to attempt to seal up my freedom panels so the wind noise at the top of the windshield will stop, and if I'm lucky stop some of my leaking in other spots as well.

And now that you have heat, you need to keep it in. I noticed on my Thanksgiving trip that the wind noise on mine was very loud at 70 mph. I'd be interested in how the weather stripping works.

Just heard on the news... Average high in Chicago has been 49 degrees in the month of December. No measurable snow in something like 259 days. If winter keeps trending warmer.....I might have to look at a year round soft top.

With me saying that...I now expect 2 feet of snow and freezing temps until May.

Good old Lake Shore Drive....

Installed Philips Ultra bulbs in the headlights. For $29 (Amazon) it does the job. Soft white color and throws it out further than the stock candles. This will do for now.

I did the same. I'm satisfied too. The stock bulbs are truly pathetic.

Can you please confirm the bulb you used. When I did a search this is the one I saw:
Philips H13 9008 X-treme Power Headlight Bulb
