At the shop getting an oil change. The mechanic broke the valve stem. They're replacing it for free, of course, but it's $60. Yowza!

Ran my Camelback from the back pouch of my Trek Armor seat cover through the MOLLE straps and attached it to my MOLLE overhead console. Long trips have just become a bit easier!

I've seen people use index cards inserted around the rim.

UPDATE! My mechanic said it was because the valve stems are aluminum and the caps I had on were steel. The stems corroded and rotted through.

Whodathunkit???

Anyways, the mechanic is my heavy duty truck mechanic and does most of my Jeep work for free. At least it wasn't an expensive lesson learned. I should've known better though :/

Have you noticed the difference between the JKU ride and a JK ride? What are they?

Having my Ace Sliders and Rubicon rails removed and RSE step sliders put in. That means that I'll have the Ace and Rubi rails up for sale. $500 for both pieces. They have never seen rocks the poor things lol. They are in very good condition. I'd rather sell in the NY/ New Jersey area as it is easy to get to. PM me if interested. I won't be able to reply until tomorrow though so don't be scared if I don't. Alas I must work to fuel this insatiable appetite for mods. Oh and I had the Recon led flares put on as well. No pics yet because the Jeep is spending the night at a shop. Will have some pics tomorrow.

Had to replace the coax cable on my CB install. The mini UHF connector was bad. SWR readings are much better now! Put in the Mopar black plastic sill guards.

Did you remove the muffler to paint it or just clean it up and paint it on the Jeep?

Nah, didn't remove it. Just knocked all the heavy crud off of it and sprayed away!

First nice day of the spring. A scorching 8 degree Celsius high. Decided to wash it and apply some mothers back to black on the fenders. Took out the freedom panels for the first time since I've owned it and cruised around. Love this thing more and more every day.
