I didn't fold down the windshield, but that would have probably made for a cleaner install. It was a little difficult to get behind the dash mounted tweeters but with a little patience I was able to line it up. The sticker comes as one long piece that wasn't a perfect fit so I had to trim it up towards the end. Total install time about 5-10 min

Finally the weather was warm enough to Plasti Dip my Sahara Wheels. The entire thing was really easy and I'm really happy with the results. Added a total of five coats of Plasti Dip.

Now time to clean out my garage to make space for the hard-top.

You should tuck it under the wiper cowl. To the wire harness its out of the way and not near the heat of the engine. Sorry for the blurry phone pic it's in the middle right side of the pic.

I'm so glad it's finally done; I was getting serious rub even when coming upon a dip in the road that wasn't expected and I couldn't slow down in time.

Ouch. Never had to remove a broken bolt on an aluminum engine. How many miles does your jeep have?

Didn't realize this thread existed...
Let me get caught up with what I have done since purchasing the '11 Sport S in December.
The Jeeps first modification was the installation of a Yaesu FT-1500 2 meter radio and mount a Diamond antenna to the tail gate.
Since then I have done the following :

Modified the side marker lights to blink with the directionals
Removed rear seat head rests and use as arm rests
Modified rear brake light mount to fit inside spare tire
Install take off '12 Rubicon shocks
Install take off '12 Rubicon rock rails
Install take off '12 Rubicon U-connect, Sirius, bluetooth radio
Install LEDs inside dome light
Upgrade headlights to Sylvania Silverstar wide angle
Upgrade foglights to Putco 35W yellow halogen
Install aFe CAI w/covered filter housing
Install aFe 2.5" hi tuck cat back exhaust
Install V8 Jeep GC "Viper" throttlebody
Stuffed the speakers housings with polyfil and install 2010 Charger speakers

Waiting for Daystar Hood Wranglers to arrive on Monday.

From www.superbrightleds.com

921-x12: 921 LED Bulb - 12 Wide Angle LED Mini Wedge Base 921-NW12: Natural White

They have different colors if you want to experiment. Price is very affordable.

Yeah, my "before" situation looked very similar to yours, with less than 1" of space! My Rubi rail end caps had some rubbing marks, probably from the day or two I ran my 315/70R17 Duratracs before the TF lift I haven't really had any rubbing since then, but also haven't had a chance to really flex the suspension. Now, I'm finally ready to do some serious off-roading!

Those Rubi rails were a lot sturdier than I expected and it took a while to cut 'em, even with a 12-Amp Milwaukee Sawzall. I also had to loosen my ACE sliders to remove the Rubi rails; trying to cut them while mounted just wasn't happening. I put some JB Weld on the pinch seams when I was done, but haven't bothered filing or painting anything since then; it looks clean enough to me:

Probably could've cut another 1/8" off the rails (only took off 1 1/8"), but I now have at least 2" of clearance. Since I have no plans to move up to 37"s, I think that'll do.

PS: found a "before" pic, after all:

Scary stuff!

You cut the black ground wire from the side marker, then splice it into the front turn signal wire that blinks. There are 3 wires to your front turn signal, one black and 2 colored (can't remember the colors), but the harness wire you want to splice into is the one on the opposite end of the black ground wire for the front turn signal connector. Use a 12 volt multimeter or test light to verify. This will give you fender marker lights and turn signals.

Checked out its ability to tow a boat that was right up on the weight limit maybe even a little more. No issues and honestly it pulled it better than my 2011 Avalanche did.

Jeep has 52k miles on it. At least it's not in the block, it's the accessory plate that everything attaches to. Still gotta bring it somewhere bc I can't get it out. :-/

Without knowing your capabilities or the level of equipment available to you, I would suggest welding a nut to the top of the broken bolt. Once it cools you can use the appropriately sized socket to ratchet it off.

I've never done this myself, but I just saw one of the mechanics from Fast & Loud do it on last weeks episode and it worked great. Good luck!

Use a nut like this one:

Weld it to your broken bolt:
