Actually I bought the Jeep that way from the dealership, now I am removing some of that chrome, I do like it but it has too much on it and I got a great deal on it...I couldn't pass it up!

There is a law in some state laws that allow for an immediate uncontestable divorce for doing this

Found plate frames that actually fit between the front fogs and grinded down the plates so it would fit into the new frame... The back plate will need to modify the plate holder...another time though..

Swapped original shocks with take offs from Rubicon & coils from 14/56 to 18/59. Gained 1-1/2" in front & 1" in rear - the rake is now only a 1/2" which I can live with for now & the extra height looks much better (at least to me).

-a couple of small steps today. T

I noticed that the factory license plate hardware was beginning to rust, so I swapped all the rusting steel screws out for stainless steel security torx screws that I blacked out with some primer.

That and I picked up a 1/2-inch ratchet handle for the Jeep's tool bag.
