seen my Jeep for the first time last night after buying it a couple months ago. already installed fuel door cover, short antenna, quadratec mats, door sills, drake grille inserts, and clear blinkers. have to figure out how to do the markers and also have a black emblem, hood wranglers, and dead pedal to install. Love this thing!!!!

In Germany everything is illegal...the Stinger bumper, the modified fenders, to drive without doors, to drive on the Beach...

For you guys talking about the side marker mod. This guy explains which cables you need to unite. How you connect them it's up to you. I followed his steps.

Speaker upgrade today. Installed Boston Acoustic speakers front and rear and put poly fill in all the speaker boxes including the sub woofer. Big improvement.

Does this fit aftermarket bumpers too? I just removed the stock plastic one. I'm wanting a front bumper but I don't want to have to buy another front skid.

It should but I guess it depends on the kind of bumper.

I was actually talking about installing the clear marker I tried earlier when I had my grille off and couldn't get the damn things off

Well, I had some success this weekend, but overall it was wrought with failure. Installed my Harken Hoist to remove my hard top. That was successful - despite putting a few small scratches in the clearcoat of my right door.

Then as I was installing my Supertop NX, I managed to break the plastic header where the right-front latch is attached. I have an email out to Bestop and am hoping for some good news on Monday.

When I bought my Jeep, it came with an HID system. One of the bulbs went out so I decided to rip it out and go back to stock bulbs. I'll be buying a set of Truck Lites soon.

While I had the grill off I also plasti-dipped my grill. Was really easy to do. I think the hardest part was making sure it was 100% clean.

That looks great! I have this skid plate in the garage waiting to go on. How did you attach the mesh?

Built rolling hard top stand (x2)
Removed hard top and installed soft top (x2)
Poly filled sound bar and sub (x2)

I have a feeling that all my mods are going to be x2. We got wife's JKU in Sept. My JK in Feb. Now that the weather is starting to get warmer the "cheap" mods will start.

So I kind of wish I had silver wheels and white letters on my tires showing... Maybe I just need time to adjust since I've had my stockers for a while. What do you guys think? ... I guess they do look pretty sweet now.

Looks good. Not a fan of white letter tires. IMO they went out of style some time ago.

Attachment 229796

Bought grill inserts but they sent me the wrong size -
UGH...[/QUOTE]

The headlight trim looks amazing on your Jeep. Thanks for posting the pics. I just ordered those and some black polished aluminum billet grille inserts. Hope mine turns out as well.

Are the recon fender flare lights plug and play or do you still have to splice the wires?
