I really like those and wish I could afford them. I want them even more now that I know there is a switch to deactivate the drop effect, since it seemed to me it might not always be convenient for those steps to be dropping down every time you open your door.

Yesterday washed it and then next thing you know the doors are off i didnt even mean to. Musta been 60 out rode around in shorts doorless topless.

Today bought acetylene and welded the control arm bracket back on the frame.

Had a pseudo death wobble yesterday (didnt have to completely stop to stop it)

Gonna order a trackbar and tierod ends and a steering stabilizer in a few minutes. Kinda ridiculous this stuff went bad at 25000 miles. Wtf.

This is a very expensive mod that doesn't really show its colors until the doors are opened. I still don't have that "lifted" look or bumpers which really start making the Jeep into what God intended. They look like regular sliders. I do notice that when it folds down, the front seat passengers have great ingress/egress but the step could've been about 6" longer to make for better ingress/egress. I am still very happy with it nonetheless.

Got my JCR bumper skid back from powder coating and installed it. Painted the ghastly muffler black, and bought a Trektop NX off Craig's list. Pick that up tomorrow.

It is an AEV 3.5 SC with 315/70/17 Duratracs mounted on AEV black pintlers with black caps. Better than stock road manners, has handled all the trails I've had it on but granted, it is my DD and not a hard core rock crawler. Overall, very satisfied.

Correction. Ordered trackbar bushings and rancho front shocks for "zero to two inch lift". Hope they fit. I have a rancho steering stabilizer in hand but am going to wait to get the trackbar bushings first.

Greatly improved handling by scraping a pound of mud off the front right wheel

I bought it that way. The previous owner owns car dealerships and repair shops so he matched it exactly.

Charlie, yes your bumper looks fat. But it's a gooooood fat!

Dominus, not knocking you. Some of these products are amazing the punishment they can take. Just wonder if those sliders are as strong as they look!

I would love some, and I'm SURE the wife would, too.
