Yeah I know. I'm just posting for those that may be on the fence. There aren't really any pics of it out there so I'm just trying to take some of key areas.

The theory I have heard is that the pedal has two strong springs so when you are off road and bouncing, you don't accidentally hit the gas pedal.

I'm running a spreadsheet of stuff I want to buy for the Jeep along with part details, supplier and price. That way, when I figure I can justify spending X amount of money on upgrades I have a quick pick list of options.

I realise that this might be about the nerdiest thing ever, but it's proving useful so far and will be a good quick reference guide for my wife when she asks what I want for birthday/Christmas/peace offering gifts.

That's my take on it. I've supplied my family with access to my quadratec wish list; they know what to do lol

I finished making and installing my paracord grab handles in the back. Im now contemplating making a cargo net out of paracord. It would look cool but my fingers would kill me haha.

Realized that the door surround on my passenger side is cracked. Almost completely broken in half. Not cool, especially since it is breaking right where the clip is that locks the top up when you just want to use the sun rider part.

It's not what I did but rather what I don't think the dealer is going to do. Long story short the pwr steering pump on my '12 is shot. Sitting in park you can't turn the wheel more than a few degrees either way before it gets damn hard to continue. Hit the gas while in park to drive the RPM's up and it turns freely.

Took it to the dealer..first they can't make it do it...then they say the steering stablizer is to stiff for the truck. god help me..

Guess I'll just get the pump and do it myself. Anyone know the right procedure to bleed the system after I change it out? Will the pwr steering fluid eat the paint off the axle and such as I am sure when I pull those hoses it's going to drip everywhere?

Eric

Any high heat paint will do. I used a black ceramic header paint. Some have used barbeque paint. Engine paint works well also.
