After all this ranting, I'm still going to make my baby more attractive for the thieves lol. Phase 2 of my transformation to a real Jeep will be Metalcloak game changer lite, Helo wheels and some Nitto or MT/R rubber. Yes I can see it now. My wallet is blind though

Installed my MetalCloak rear seat support and ordered my lift! AEV 2.5", AEV geometry brackets, ProCal, and wheel spacers. Going to be a VERY long week waiting by the mailbox!

That's the smittybilt one. I am installing mine today, but I am adding dynomat underneath, and putting the stealth pod sub on the left. I also hate that the screws show so I am using license plate black caps to cover the screws.

Smittybilt GEAR Tailgate Cover.
Here is the link to it on Quadratec:
http://www.quadratec.com/products/14070_921X_PG.htm

However, I prefer the metal MOLLE tailgate covers you can find on ebay. They cost less and are way stronger. They won't ever sag and they can support almost anything you want to mount back there.
Here is the link to it on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/jk-tailgate-...227f36&vxp=mtr

The seller is a great guy who will customize it however you wish. He also makes these same metal MOLLE tailgate covers in a fold down tray form. He makes them for the rear doors and cargo area too.

Here is mine:

I put my Jeep towel seat cover on.

And of course, my little helper had to give it a whirl first.

Installed Rugged Ridge hitch is morning. 10 minutes and done. Install tip....the bolts are not welded on as some pics may suggest which can make it a tick more difficult so to solve this dilemma and save my knuckles I hot glued the bolts to the mount so they would stay put while starting the bolts. Worked like a charm and not one knuckle scrape!!

Future painters... It may be wise to put ur jeep on stands and put in gear while painting the drive shaft. Better chance of a even coat. Easily unbalanced, even a simple rattle can job will do it.

It's a great unit. I put a 1" wide piece of metal that I picked up at hardware for about 3$ to go on top to stop the sagging. Drilled the matching holes. And done. To bad smittybilt didn't think of that.

I have the OD version. Also got the seat covers. for all of the seats. If you get one, you have to add straps to hold it down on the back seat and cut holes for the rear headrest.
All the older web gear fits the MOLE strapping layout. Even the WW2 web belt pouches.
