I dipped the whole thing a few weeks ago. I love it. Plastidip is a great product once it fully cures. I'm actually spraying it again soon, commando green, since this stuff is so addicting.

How much does it cost to do the whole vehicle and how long does it last

Ripped my seat today >:-(. Any idea how to fix this short of getting a new seat? Reupholstering or just get some seat covers? Would seat covers still cause it to deteriorate?

Duct tape But in all seriousness, that sucks. I have no idea on reupholstering costs, but I would think tape/stitching and seat covers would be the most cost effective method? Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in. Good luck!

That's very funny guys lol. Yeah I don't know what to do at this point. How much is a new seat going to cost? Jeez. Duct tape does fix everything though.

I have no experience with it myself, but I know there is such a thing as a leather patch...they tried to sell one to me when I bought my couch. Give target or Wal Mart a shot or even stop in a furniture store.
Re-apolstering is gonna get pricey
Good luck

If you have steady hands you can duct tape it from the inside. It'll still show a seam where the rip is, but it will be stuck together and waterproof again. It'll be your very first seat scar

Yeah that seems to be the least expensive option. I'll have to call the dealer to see what they say..... although I know what they will say.

Helo Rims and Duratracs

Finally, all the Helo rims came in today, so I mounted the Duratracs 315/70/17 and installed and took a ride down by the beach....

I'm not sure how it happened actually. I'm in scrubs today so no jeans with rivets and my wallet is the only thing in my back pocket. Its not sharp like a knife but jagged. I remember sliding out of the seat and the rest is history.

there's a type of fabric glue, can't remember name or brand, but maybe glue a patch of material on it? would stop it from tearing anymore, but would also ruin more of the seat material.

I really like it so far. It's very solid and no rattling when I took it for a quick spin. The instructions were very clear, although I suspect I may have to make some small adjustments to the coupling. Highly recommended.
Why do you have a rear wiper blade? :-P

Replaced my windshield. Went cheapy this time around since I know it will get broke again. And went to the dealer had them look at my seat. They took pics. Got authorized to replace the material. Part is ordered.
