Yea it's still the stock carrier. I haven't had any trouble the past 2 years with it mounted. My bumper did bend a little bit and it supports the tire from moving wiggling around.

I pulled the side cover back and slid the belt behind it. No more flapping and the only draw back is a slow return of the belt when you take it off.

I used a piece of about 10" double sided velcro. Wrap it around and no more flapping. I've also seen peeps twist the seatbelt and it stops it.

Having nothing waiting to be installed and nothing on order was upsetting me, so I just ordered an amp, subwoofer, proximity sensor and locking hood catches.

Now I can play the "check Amazon every three hours to see which random transit hub my stuff is at" game for the next few days.

If you have an Android you get to be frightened by the fact that Google Now knows what you ordered, when you ordered it, when it's going to be delivered, and where it is. Creepy, but still very cool.

Too funny. That's what I did first only I used the top tie down straps that were in the glove box when I bought it. That flapping drove me and my ocd crazy!! Lol

It's plug and play on 2013s, but unless there has been a recent change it only works with auto trannys. Love mine and the ability to enter data into the Garmin while underway (by passenger of course). But get a good camera that works well at night and has a broad field of vision. Some have a backup grid too that tell you how close you are to objects.

Just a little heat from a hair dryer to warm up the decal and then use your finger to get the end picked up and slowly pull it off while keeping it warm. Mine were off in about 45 seconds.

I took mine off after a month or 2. 40 degrees out in the sun and a heat gun wasn't needed.

Brand New Wrangler Unlimited

Well, I have only had my Jeep for one week. It's the Wrangler Unlimited Oscar/Mike version. In one week I have done the following:
  • Blacked out all the windows (tinted)
  • Added Rock Guards on the sides
  • Put a 3" Lift on it
  • Put new BFG's Mud Terrain TA's K2M all around (305x65x17)
  • Put new Pro Comp Black series 7005 wheels on it
  • Installed all new speakers & audio system - left 130 HU in
    • Replaced front 6 1/2 with Hybrid Audio 161-2 speakers
    • Replaced overhead with Arc Audio 6.5's
    • Replaced tweeters with Hybrid Audio Tweeters
    • Replaced subwoofer with JL 8"W1 subwoofer
    • Put in a Kenwood x700-5 5-Chan Amp
    • Stinger 8 gauge pro complete wiring system
    • Stinger 12' 4chan RCA system
    • PAC RCA Line Level Controller
    • AAMP Gold RCA Couplers
    • PAC 2ch adj loc with auto remote
    • PAC 4ch line output converter
  • Installed rear seat Grab Handles from Smitybilt
  • Installed heavy duty rear tire mount
  • Installed front/rear Differential Skid Plates
  • Installed a K&N Air Cleaner
Planning on putting a better bumper, lights, and wrench in the next month or two. I love this Jeep. It "rocks"

Well, got it done. Not 100% happy with it. Need wider straps. I had it welded by a fellow local jeep club member but told him wrong, as which one to weld to what. Longer piece should have went side to side but stupid me. Then someone else saved me by welding the piece left over to other end. The hooks I bought then didn't work, so a little redneck fixin and BAM!!! So next step get wife used to it, then build a stand for it, while no top is needed or I install soft top.

Pretty much a repeat of what has already been said. Did it after driving it around on a sunny day. Picked at the edge and slowly peeled it off. Less than a minute. Did take some time after to clean around it really well before putting the decal on.

Good luck and definitely post pictures!
