Just went and ordered my RE 3.5" Lift and Misc Components. Now comes the wait for the parts to come in and and my schedule to match so they can be installed.

Put the soft top on for the first time since buying it!

Question: is it normal to see a bit of light coming through where the top corner of the door meets the plastic bracket and the soft top window? From what I can tell everything is installed correctly. It was all pretty self explanatory. I might just have to loosen the bracket and adjust it a bit.

Dropped off my daughter at friends birthday party with top off. She felt cool getting out and having her friend admire the top-less jeep. I felt good that her old man doesn't embarrass her.

Before party, this AM, went muddying with daughter after soft ball practice at an area near her field. On our way back home (and car wash) she stated "I want my first vehicle to be a jeep" I laughed and was very proud...

I did nothing to my Jeep today other than drive it and brush the pollen off the dash, because I missed USPS delivery of my JW Speaker 8700s. I will be out of town most of next week and will not be able to get them until Thursday. Yeah...but I won in tennis today so I can work with that. Played a team that was actually better than us, but we had it going on today..beat em 7-5, 3-6, 6-2. They were better and about 15 years younger but I had my serve going today...and when its going it is un-returnable.

Those are stock BFG mud terrains and the wheels are stock from the 2010 mountain edition package. The bumper inserts and grille are also the same color as the wheels.

That's about what I get stock lol. I guess for me its not enough highway miles to offset the city miles. I had a shop install it. Yeah I cheated lol. I love the clunk it makes when it tucks itself up.

Fixed some snowmobile bridges -which of course required "getting there". Found out that Dick Cepek FC II's turn into slicks when trying to help a dump truck through a corn field and spent ten bucks blowing the red clay of my white JK!
A good day indeed!
