I dropped my Jk off at the repair shop. Apparently, there was a bit more damage on the underside than I originally thought. Enterprise rented me a Dodge Charger for the duration of my repair work. Iím not a tall man, yet I keep bumping my head on the interior. The Keyless Enter-N-Go is a cool feature to have, though. After that joy, and the seemingly borderline witchcraft that is properly working headlights faded, melancholy quickly set in. I miss my Jeep.

How much was the portable Cobra? I love the idea, but it's pretty close in price to an installed unit at $75.

Great to know! I tried it tonight. Really good signal even through buildings for a couple blocks anyway.
Do you find it's better to buy the plug in adapter with rechargeable batteries or just use the regular batteries?

It was 120 total local. I've seen it for 85ish online. By the time it's shipped to Canada about the same or more. I didn't wanted to mess with anything this time round. And portable for the trail.

Installed some Poison Spyder Bombshells. Painted the spyder red. No picks because it is raining, I guess thats better than the 18 inches they got in the northwest part of the state.

Not this one. But the Uniden one I was going to buy at a truck stop was 65. But they were out of stock.

More or the Mall Crawler...

OK, I guess its becoming more than a Mall Crawler...yesterday it got a AEV tubeless front bumper and skid plate, Riddler front diff cover with Redline synthetic 75W90 lube, and '13 Rubi wheels and tires. Today it scheduled for an AEV 2.5 Dual Sport lift.
She is an addiction.
I'll do a better job on the pics after the lift..I hope.

Let me know how the install goes. Mine are sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. Just trying to find a free weekend since it will probably take longer than I expect.

This weekend the weather is supposed to be in the mid 70's, so I'll be taking the top off and installing the trektop nx. Wish me luck...

And if it snows in the PNW on Monday, I'm sorry... It's my fault.

Lay the top out in the sun as your first step. Then start putting everything else on. The heat will definitely Help when u try to latch the front. Love mine.

I drove with It for the first time yesterday in some bad wind and rain and it was awesome. It only leaked in one spot which is the same spot it leaked with the hard top on. I think the weatherstripping is just beat up from the previous owner removing and putting back on the freedom panels. Good luck!

You can blame the latest snow fall on me because I took the top off for the weekend. Time to convert to a soft top.

Installed the Factor 55 ProLink on my winch setup. It eliminates the dangling and less than ideal snap hook. It's also a nice battering ram for people who back into me.

It's a spendy little thing but seems well made. Only puzzler is they recommend spraying it with a UV protecting clear coat. So for almost $150 bucks why didn't THEY spray it?

Agree. And they have great customer service.

Had to exchange something. They treated me with courtesy, didn't ask any stupid questions and took care of it. Right away.

After having for over a month, I still have yet to do this. So far, it only goes where I go. She has a 2013 vehicle also.

Amazon has the Midland 75-855 for $79. I know you can hook it to an ext antenna and either run it off a battery pack or plug it into a power port. I am thinking of getting one myself, but not sure if I want to go that route yet.
