I dropped my Jk off at the repair shop. Apparently, there was a bit more damage on the underside than I originally thought. Enterprise rented me a Dodge Charger for the duration of my repair work. Iím not a tall man, yet I keep bumping my head on the interior. The Keyless Enter-N-Go is a cool feature to have, though. After that joy, and the seemingly borderline witchcraft that is properly working headlights faded, melancholy quickly set in. I miss my Jeep.

I have one of those and the range is amazing! Plus I can't believe how handy it is trying to navigate other people over obstacles on the trail, while I am out and they are driving!
I have one hard wired and mounted as well, but only use it for the PA system. The hand held does better!
Great to know! I tried it tonight. Really good signal even through buildings for a couple blocks anyway.
Do you find it's better to buy the plug in adapter with rechargeable batteries or just use the regular batteries?

OK, I guess its becoming more than a Mall Crawler...yesterday it got a AEV tubeless front bumper and skid plate, Riddler front diff cover with Redline synthetic 75W90 lube, and '13 Rubi wheels and tires. Today it scheduled for an AEV 2.5 Dual Sport lift.
She is an addiction.
I'll do a better job on the pics after the lift..I hope.

I didn't do anyting today, but tomorrow I'm installing Bushwacker flat fenders on my 2010 jk unllimited. If anyone as installed them can you tell me if there is anything out of te ordinary I should be awarre of. The directions seem pretty easy.
Let me know how the install goes. Mine are sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. Just trying to find a free weekend since it will probably take longer than I expect.
This weekend the weather is supposed to be in the mid 70's, so I'll be taking the top off and installing the trektop nx. Wish me luck...
And if it snows in the PNW on Monday, I'm sorry... It's my fault.
Lay the top out in the sun as your first step. Then start putting everything else on. The heat will definitely Help when u try to latch the front. Love mine.
I drove with It for the first time yesterday in some bad wind and rain and it was awesome. It only leaked in one spot which is the same spot it leaked with the hard top on. I think the weatherstripping is just beat up from the previous owner removing and putting back on the freedom panels. Good luck!
That's about the same reason I got rid of mine and got a soft top. Couldn't get it off and put it in the back yard by myself. Colorado weather is screwy to say the least. And I like to be able to put the top up and down as needed. Maybe after I get neoprene seat covers I won't care as much. But nothing is worse than the soggy seat. Dealt with that enough with HMMWVs.
You can blame the latest snow fall on me because I took the top off for the weekend. Time to convert to a soft top.
Didn't know you were in Canada...I do like the portability aspect, was hoping for something in the $50 range so I could just order tonight!
Amazon has the Midland 75-855 for $79. I know you can hook it to an ext antenna and either run it off a battery pack or plug it into a power port. I am thinking of getting one myself, but not sure if I want to go that route yet.
