Mall Crawler goes to Moab

Took her to Moab to see how the new AEV 2.5 Dual Sport lift works...SO GOOD.
Sights in Moab are always amazing. These two Schaefer Switchbacks, and the trail going to the switchbacks.

Poison Spyder has them although I made an offer on one on eBay and got it for $150 shipped. The eBay store had over ten of them.

The fenders are awsome and no probs. only had them on a couple weeks but I've been wheeling a dozen times already and the light cover is all that's broke. Took my buddy's wrecker to finally get it out after we straightened the hook on his bronco. Lot of fun though!

Ore Mountains, Saxony (Germany)

Hello friends,

we spent the afternoon in the Ore Mountains and were at the top of the highest hill of Saxony (Fichtelberg 1215 metres)
We drove 100 miles and met no other Jeep.

BTW: I proudly present my new Rubicon...

Finally installed my soft top (yesterday). I had ordered it weeks ago but a piece broke during installation so I had to wait for a replacement part. I also wanted to make sure it was nice and sunny to give the top time to warm up.

Time to drop the top and go driving!

Didn't do this today, but yesterday I mounted my iPad in the Jeep and installed the teraflex leveling kit.

Drove it to work today.
But yesterday....stripped top and doors and took my youngest to the range to test loads. Then took the family to NRA convention downtown.

They are smittybilt XRC fender flares. The iPad is mounted with a pro clip mount. Clips in right above the radio head.

Concealed my garage door opener in the padding of the roll bar over the drivers door. Very simple process of unzipping the cover, cutting out some of the foam with a Dremel tool and embedding the opener in the foam, securing it along the edges with duct tape and then zipping the cover back up!

Get a torque wrench and retorque your whole suspension and the wheel spacers and lug nuts. Torque specs can be found on project jk. Then test again
