So today on the way to work, top and doors off, I sounded like a kid with a card in his spokes most of the way to work.

Most of the stickers and tape are now gone, mostly, but something is making a noise.

And now I'm freaking out that I did something wrong (how would that even be possible).

So at lunch I will go peel more crap off the tires.

top that?
I went and off roaded my 13 jku with 3k on it covered in mud 2 weekends in a row lol.

I plastidipped the grill, windshield brackets and whatever that other piece is called.

As my contribution to the stupid club, I masked the brackets and other pieces while the Jeep was sitting in direct sunlight and left the Jeep there while I sprayed. When I peeled the tape off, it left a LOT of dried adhesive behind that took me about 2 hours to clean off when I finally realized I had a can of WD40. I then used Meguire's Quick Detail spray to clean off the WD40 residue and the remaining plastidip overspray.

I was smart enough to remove the grill and spray it in the garage.

Thanks. Its "the combo". I just hope the last noise is in fact glue or a sticker on the tread. Can't think of anything else it could be :-)

Yeah. Prob just stickers or glue. You should be fine. FYI, don't run those suckers at the 35 psi that's suggested. Makes them way to rigid.

Opinions vary on the best psi but I run at 31-32 and they feel great and the tread is holding up just fine.

Thanks. It's a stock, OEM, 10th Anniversary Rubicon special. Sounds like Jeep is trying to keep parts from this special edition restricted as well, so may not be readily accessible.

I'm color blind, so it was a good thing I had my buddy with me to tell me which wire to splice into on the rear light harness! We also made the wire extension from one of the backup lights too short initially. Should have measured the distance needed better. Bolts really well onto the frame. Solid. Feel sorry for anyone who rear ends me with that on!
Thanks for the review! I think that goes on my short list.

We went to Chiva Falls out off of Reddington road in the Rincons.

Not sure if you know of the AZ forum section, but the Tucson crew thread is pretty active.

I would not rely on that to hold your top.
It may hold it for a little while but I am pretty certain that that is going to come down before you want it to.
Not trying to rain on your parade but there is just no way that hoist can hold that top for long.

Looked up rear bumpers and tire carriers again. Then looked up parts for the other project. Torn between spending on jeep or 68 Chevy truck. Decisions decisions. So no parts ordered today.

35psi isn't recommended by anybody. 35psi is the max pressure for the tire. I run mine at 29psi cold and have no complaints n

Sounds like you have a keeper right there. She's a jeep purist.
You should have no problem selling it either here or on CraigsList or ebay. Especially now that good weather is here and everybody wants to go topless and avoid getting skin cancer at the same time.
