Probably cost the same if you factor in your extra time and effort if you just buy the kit from someone and it will be designed for it.

Yeah I paid $100 for a 2" lift and it came with the steering link

I have seen a few posts from people with TJ's and YJ's that have done it. After everything was said and done they spent right around $30.

Got the JKU because I needed the space. My daughter is 21 now and I rarely have someone in my back seat. My significant other and I do have a dog, also, but he is 15 and not doing that great these days.

Am I crazy to give up the room? Checking out the 2 door Rubicon, it seems I could get the dog bed in (with the 25 lb dog in it) sideways and still have room in the back for a couple of duffle bags on top of each other. This would be with the rear seat folded up, of course.

I am awaiting pricing, but I think I can trade my 11 JKU for a 13 JK with upgrades and either keep the same payment or be below it without any money down. Would get me additional things like the pentastar engine, premium soft top (which I tried and is SO much easier to put down...I am petite so this matters big time), remote start, heated seats, rubicon offroad extras, nice wheels, etc. Would probably swap my NAV into it since I purchased that not long ago.

I have my choices down to 2 Rubis....white with black cloth rubi seats or true blue with black leather seats. Both have heated seats. I love leather but am concerned about how hot it would get with the roof off in the summer.

I welcome any feedback on any of this particularly going from a 4 door to a 2 door.
Just broke the news to my partner that I want to trade for a 2 door JK. Thought it might be an issue...NOPE....totally supportive for me to do what I want to do. Helped me make up my mind about some options, too. I'm sooooo excited!! Now I just need those dealer numbers to come back!

What did you have to do to be able to get 37's, like lift beef up the axle brakes?

Got my first oil change today after having my jeep for seven months. Also found out that I get two free oil changes per year for as long as I own it.

My dealer also likes to customize a lot of their jeeps and today I saw a 2013 wrangler with a 4" lift and 37's, but they kept the standard 3.21 gears. I don't think they know what they are doing.

Shouldn't be too bad, had a set shipped from Idaho to Alaska for about $40 each. You may find them cheaper locally though.

I ordered mine with the 430 navi. The EVIC is an option you have to turn on through the settings. Have you tired that?

EVIC works fine with mine. I was kinda surprised by it the first time as I didn't know it did that. No dealer flash required.

Drake billet pedals and Welcome Distributing grab handles. Th grab handles are great. Definite must have!!! Did the front and back. Made from solid rod. Package must have weighed close to 15 pounds.

How do you get the black screen? I think it looks better than mine. Mine came out of a 2012 rubicon.
