The previous owner of my Jeep lined the fenders and Rubi Rails and I pick up my lined ACE rocksliders tomorrow. Besides the cost, I'm liking the lined parts. I thought about doing the stock bumpers, but think I will wait until I swap them out for what I want.

Well now you've done it. You'll never want them to be on again.

I felt the same way 2 weeks ago... Until the rain came. This weekend is supposed to be beautiful in New England. I'll be taking them off again.

Removed the stock recovery hook from the rear and prepped and primed it for painting. I'm going to try out red accents, and figured this was a good place to start, since I'm planning to add a tow hitch and would be removing the hook anyway.

Also, soaked my passenger side door hinges in PB blaster. Hopefully, I can get it off tonight.

Finished installing the TF 2.5 coil lift last night.

Went and got it aligned today just to be safe. Mechanic said I had it damn near perfect. Not bad for my first ever attempt at doing my own alignment.

I was in such a rush I forgot to measure first on the rear. On the front I gained about 1.5 inches overall, but I had a leveling kit that was replaced by this lift.

Does the lift take care of the rake like the leveling kit did? I have the TF coil leveling kit at the moment, but want to go up to the TF 2.5 lift, since it seems one of the few that will give as close to the "advertised" amount of lift and not more.

It looks like I still have some rake. Probably due to winch. Am going to put some of the front spacers back in to level it out. TF says there's nothing wrong with doing this.

How did the install go generally? Mine goes on tomorrow evening.

Managed to get the following installed in the last couple of days:

DirtyDog netting and sunscreen
Bestop Supertop NX Twill top

Would have been easier with a second pair of hands to help out but wasn't too bad for a solo project.

I hate putting stickers in my vehicles. But since this will allow me to play in the mud, I will make an exception.

I'm no pro so results vary......and I didn't have access to air tools.

I feel the rear was pretty easy.

The front was a bear. The new bumpstops make it damn impossible to get the new coils on. Had the axle as low as pissible without disco the drive shaft. Had to resort to spring compressors to get them in. Drivers side such much easier than passenger as less linkages in the way.

I'm considering this. Do you think removing the bumper is necessary? I was planning to leave it on.

To paint the muffler, or remove the silver trim? I don't know about the former, but you can't take the silver Sahara trim off the rear bumper without removing it. It's really simple though.

Yeah you pretty much have to take off the bumper to get to all the screws holding the cover on. There's only 6 bolts holding the bumper on and since it's plastic it's very light.
