Gave her a bath. First time in three years. Is permanent mud on the hood and sides a bad thing?

The stock rubber ones are horrible. What are those?

It's a very subtle mod, but (at least for me) when you look at your Jeep and the huge rubber jubblies are gone...kinda nice. From the driver's seat it makes me feel like I'm driving something fast. What a crock.

Ok, this is much better!! Glad I changed it. I hope they stick good enough now, though. Was a little tough taking them off to reposition them. Hopefully, the adhesive will hold up.

I totally Agree! If the adhesives won't hold up, there's always Gorilla Glue

Today I figured out that my bump stops are limiting my suspension travel way to much. I understand that the manufacturer probably did that for a number of reason's, rubbing of tires on fender flares, driveshaft rubbing on transmission pan, brake lines breaking and so on. I have flat fenders, extended break lines and fairly quickly will have new driveshafts. I think its time to get some more advanced bumpstops.

Plasti dipped the Jeep emblem and smoked the turn signals/parking lights.

First time using plasti dip, I love this stuff. Since its so easily removable I think tomorrow I'll try angry eyes. I haven't been sure if I will like them but this is an easy and cheap fix if I don't.

I'm also surprised how much I like the smoked signals, looks a lot cleaner to me rather than the orange.

Also took the top off for the first time ever!

How exactly did you smoke the signals? I was looking at buying some, but that might be the cheaper option.

I got them from the dealership where I bought my jeep at the dealers cost price which was only $1000.00 + tax and my old tops (Core) otherwise they would cost $1400.00 without the Core.

Website who makes them and you can order them from any Jeep dealership JeeTops

I went to Auto Zone and got Rust-Oleum Lens Tint. It was about $12 for a can. There was a slightly cheaper brand as well.

For the turn signals I took the grill off and popped out the lenses. The side markers looked like they were going to be a pain so I left them on and just taped it off really well.
