Had my Jeep less than a week. Never driven one prior to my purchase. Never been off roading or in 4 wheel drive. I found a 5 acre construction site today that was all mud and rocks...its been raining here lately...and I put it in 4wd lo and hit it. It was awesome. Had to "get a little mud on the tires." I still have no idea what my Jeep can and can't do. Its a 13 JKU Sahara with 3.73, anti slip, and manual tranny.

Lol take more than a little construction mud to find out what it can do.

Just got in from a 2,246 mile round trip from here in Burgaw NC to Alpena MI with my wife to visit her family. No problems at all but the insect population between here and there may never recover. I saw 19.7 mpg at times but ended with 17.8. I made it to Beckley WV on one tank! (pee break time anyway!)

Im sure. Are there videos or threads on stock unlimited jeeps off roading? I know I will learn limits as I explore, but I sure dont want to get stuck somewhere alone....not that thats the worst that could happen. Id like to have an idea of how capable this Jeep is...

You need to get hooked up with your local jeep or 4wheel club. Then take her out with a support crew and try to get her stuck. You'll never really know your limits until you cross them (take a change of clothes and shoes cause you're gonna get dirty). 😜

not bad. the directions kinda suck, they're only pictures. anyone who needs help just pm me, or you can watch the install video on YouTube. all you need is a utility knife, 13 mm socket, and a Phillips screwdriver. let it sit in the sun for an hour while I took the hard top off, and it was like 85 today in western PA.
I really like the look of the back, otherwise I probably would have went with the bestop supertop.

You are absolutely right. I plan on it...otherwise I wont be getting the full experience.

Picked up some Rubi rails from a local member for a steal. Super easy to install by myself as well.

It's so that water does not get in your air filter.

Very quick turn around if it is 3 weeks. But I wouldnt bet on it. I ordered my fastback from him in March and it took 2 months to come in.

Just and FYI - if you have any problems with the install or anything just give him a call and he will help you any way he can. I was on the phone with him during my install and he helped me out. That company has a bad rep but I expected my wait time to be long and I dont have any bad things to say about Tim.
