Driving lights? Did you do something to change them from turn signals into driving lights? Or are they still turn signals? Not trying to be a smart a$$. Just asking.

After leaving my Jeep at the airport for 2 weeks, I had to buy it a present. My morning project...rugged ridge grill insert. I bought it while traveling from Extreme Terrain and had it shipped to the house. I had no idea what to expect since it was only $45.00. I have not tried fitting it yet, but it appears to be very high quality. I will post more pics when I get it installed. Gotta be a better solution than the gutter guard idea..but I like most of those that I have seen. I like the Rugged Ridge because it is 3D...I was not expecting that when I bought it.

Looks like its a sheet of expanded metal. Is it plastic coated or painted? Hard to tell in the pic

It is powder coated and the area that fits in the grill slots is raised.

I installed one of those last week. You'll need to "manipulate" it a bit to get a good fit (it's a bit curled up right out of the box), but otherwise, I like it a lot.

Took my usually carsick boy for his first ride in the Jeep...thanks to 50mg of Dramamine, no cleanup needed, and we both had a good time! Maybe this will be the turning point and he can be a Jeep dog!

I'm sure you did this but to the uninitiated be sure to remove all of the plasti dip before you apply bedliner as the base determines the strength of paint adhesion. Since plastidip is removeable, bedlining on top of it won't adhere to anything but the plastidip so a chip or gouge can still happen.

I always used to have that problem with my dog, but it stopped when I started putting him on the back seat rather than in the trunk. I'm guessing it's to do with the greater range of motion in the back.

Question Is it within the law?

Maybe this varies from place to place. It's expected practice here on a left turn to enter an intersection on green, and clear on amber. You have to watch for oncoming running the light, so you're often forced to complete your turn and clear on red.

What's the law really say? Did the OP clear in an attentive manner?
