Installed Rugged Ridge mesh grill. Couple of tips. I cut out about 3 inches of top of the middle section so it fits my hood lock. Also..You really only have to bolt in the bottom retaining screws. The top ones will compress against the frame of the radiator support. When you press the 6 plastic rivets back in, it will hold everything in place. So far I like it. I going to have the grill redlined (in black) and will have the grill done as well so it matches. It will also protect the mesh where I cut it out for the hood lock.

Got a little further with my interior shelf

Added holes for bungee cord. Need another board for bottom, part it black, and install.

Took a while but finally got my Trek Armor seat covers yesterday and slipped them on today. Mitch was awsome and a man of his word. Well worth the wait and money:-) now to buy pouches for them.

Installed new front and rear diff covers with Lucas gear oil. The old ones were leaking, so perfect time to upgrade. Also painted the stock muffler and tailpipe.

The trick is to make sure you fold it properly and it will be fine. You have to make sure and fold the top into a w, that is pull each half all the way back. Once you do that it will sit fairly flat and you can use the Velcro straps for extra security to hold it down. I've done it many times on the way home from work, which includes about 40 miles of highway with no problems.

I pretty much only ride with my top like that. No problems yet. I don't think Jeep would have made it an option if it were prone to parachuting

I was too, being my first time and all. Didn't get it over 40mph (per owners manual) it also states that if you do go over 40mph, to take out the back window. I don't have the velcro straps but that's an easy fix.

Another thing is to roll the back window up or take it out. Helps with the wind.

My back window doesn't have straps attached to it. But I may have some Velcro straps that will work.

Do you have the buttons? Mine didn't come with the straps but had the buttons where they snap in. Just had to go to the dealer and they gave me a couple.

My first mod got kinda expensive. I was going to buy slush mats for my JKU, but ended up buying 5 tires and wheels from Discount tires. 315/75/16 Duras with MB Stryker wheels. $2150-300 in rebates. Not bad.

I'd love to hear how you started with floor mats, but ended up with new tires. LOL
