I own a TJ also. I robbed the TJ's back seat and hardware, welded a bottom plate.

There are other ways to do it easier, I just had enough material laying around to do it.

So the back seat tumbles and comes out with little effort.
Thanks

Finally completed the audio upgrade, the finished kit list is:

- JVC KW-AV60BT head unit with detacheable face
- Alpine MRX-V60 5 channel amp mounted under passenger seat
- Polk Audio db6501 components in the front
- Polk Audio db651s slimline coaxials in the soundbar
- JLB GTO804 8" sub in factory housing (with a little bit of MacGyvering)

Only thing remaining is waiting for one of jeepedjeep's underseat amp brackets to arrive, currently it's loose under the seat. Sound is very decent on first test, I haven't tuned the amp properly yet as I had beer to drink and people to drink it with but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be happy with the quality.

Good for you. I got it dirty before I broke 200 miles too. The picture in my avatar was taken when the jeep had about 150 miles.

Have fun out there.

Get in and buckle up. Insert key and turn key to on (do not start). Wait for the warning lights to cycle. Undo and redo the seat belts 3 time in 10 seconds finshing up buckled. Turn the key to off. If you hear a chime, then you did it right. You get the seat belt light on, but no warning chime every 10 seconds.

You guys running without seatbelt a need to look at the statistics on not wearing them. I helped harvest too many organs from people not wearing seatbelts as a resident and I've had my own life saved twice by a seatbelt. At least sign your organ donor cards if you are going through with this mod!

I don't disagree with you on the importance of wearing your belt. I find it somewhat annoying tho when I get my mail at the end of the road and it starts going off prior to me stopping. I wish they had a sensor for the passenger too.

They do. At least mine does. It always goes off when there's someone in the passenger seat with no belt on.

Recut my front fenders.

Started building a box for this area. Tool box will use the few inches of space above wheel well and extend 7inches into the cargo area. Will be flush with the bottom of the body seam where the hard top would attach. Just have to figgure out my lid.

Hope to have some more work done tomorrow.

There's a stock shot of an early part of trail. Water was pretty high being spring here, but all rock riverbed, and early in the season so the ruts weren't bad at all there.

I am having a blast. Will get a few pics up once I shrink them down enough.

Mines a 2012. If someone sits in the passenger seat without a belt. It chimes.

Washed and cleaned the inside and outside because there are only three more days until the end of school, when the top comes off for the rest of the summer. The next time it gets a bath will be mid summer right after it rains because that'll be the only time the top is up lol.

Dipped Rear Brake Light

So all the plasti dip ideas along with light customizations I decided to try and put my initials and wrangler forum username on my rear tire mount brake light. I think it came out pretty good. The edges didn't come out as clean as I wanted but I used a Q-tip, tweezers, and a toothpick to sharpen it up. I don't know what do you guys think? Special thanks to fakeelvis for his help. Couldn't have done it without you! Very much appreciated!
