Got to third base with her (everything but the back doors) for the first time. Driving with no doors and especially no mirrors takes a bit of getting used to - it has been a long time since I've ridden a motorbike, but I soon got back into the swing of the lifesaver look.

First Time Doorless/Topless

Went Doorless and Topless for the first time today! Went with a few friends, he knew a few cool places to go. Had some fun.

Spent an hour yesterday assembling my Bestop Instatrunk, then went to install it today and it doesn't fit. The holes that are supposed to be there near the rollbar do not exist. Went back to my Amazon order and their "check fit" said it was the right one for my vehicle, model number was 42702-01. The other one that looked the same said for vehicles with the subwoofer, which I do not have. Looks like the one I got is for older pre-2011 JKs...

Amazon is great about returns, but I think I'll call Bestop first to see if they might do a direct swap, otherwise return to Amazon and order whatever the right one is... Damn, and it took more than a month to get... :-(

Right on, thanks!

Always ignore what Amazon says will fit your vehicle. Always check the part number with the manufactures website.

Trying to install quick disconnects. ? For the forum real quick. Guy at lift shop said to adjust the new disconnects to be the same length as current stock connectors. Stock is about 4" and the ones he gave me are about 7". Is this ok to be so different?

After 24 hours of labor my JKU, Lego, is the proud momma of a baby boy. He rolled in at 700cc. She is grinning fender to fender as she boasts about her new baby. She named him Mega Block. She hopes one day to have a baby girl named Kreo. But for now, she's got her baby boy (Yamaha Grizzly 700).

So today, I brought home a new family member with my JK.

Typically you want to adjust them so your sway bar is either neutral or + or - 5 degrees. The. Reason they are longer is most sway bars are for 0 to 3 inch lifts and then you move to the next level of QD for higher lifts say 3 to 6 and so on

Ought it in Novenber and have not checked the oil or other fluids in 7-8 months??!! Shame on you.

I haven't.....hubby has. He must not have noticed the battery....LOL. Automotive maintenance is not part of my job description. And I'm sure i'll get women on here yelling at me but I deal with cars all day long at work-last thing I want to do when I get home is think about anything automotive related.

I just purchased and installed Rugged Ridge relocation mirror brackets for my 2011 JKU, and Quadratec replacement mirrors from Quadratec. So now I can finally take my doors off and be legal. I purchased the replacement mirrors because I didn't feel like disconnecting the power mirrors every time I wanted to take the doors off. (As a side note, I was driving around with a giant smile on my face as I enjoyed the sun and wind on me as I headed to the gun range). Anyways, they look cool, and they are legal "looking" but for some reason I can't get the mirror to tilt up far enough to see out of it effectively. Like, I have to crouch down just to use them correctly, and see out of them. Otherwise, I'm looking the street just behind me as I drive. Am I doing something wrong?? Is there something else I need to do?? Has anyone else experienced this as well?

I have Dietec brackets with Quadratec mirrors and the drivers doesn't come up enough. I'm 6' but don't have to crouch down. I just live with it.

Hmmm... Alright brother, I appreciate it.. I'm 5'11", so I probably don't have the seat quite as far back as you do, but I guess if that's that, then it is what it is, and I'll just roll with it. Thanks again bro

Installed Tuffy Security box under the drivers seat...necessary for those times when you can't keep your keys.
