They can be a PITA but if you take your time on one and do it right the next 3 should be cake.

Joined a very special club after putting my doors back on....I think we all know what that club is.... The "I'm a dumbass and I forgot to attach the cord to the hook and now I have a ding on my cowl" club!

The funny thing is that I've read about it a million times on this forum, but I guess rushing to get the doors on before the rain got the best of me, and my Jeep. Sorry buddy!

Ouch! Haven't done that yet but check out this video. I'm the first jeep and I missed my line going up. Didn't realize there was a huge boulder under might right rear. Listen to the rock hit my muffler and skid plate. It was really loud inside the cab.

Same thing happened to me too, but it was a windy day and did not realized it until I got it back from the dealership (fixing the door leaks). So I blamed it on them thinking it was really them. They fixed it under warranty and explained what might of caused it and thought to myself that windy day... Haha

Does anyone have pictures of their JK with the air dam taken off the front? I was looking at it the other day and wondered what this would look like.

Of course, now even with the velcro off, the grommets don't want to line up correctly. Finally got it done, but I have another question. Anyone have trouble getting both back spiderballs connected. I can now get one, or the other but not both. Driving me nuts, however, for now I can live with just one being done and I have the hardtop back on again. As long as the front is snug for when the panels are off, I'm ok. I do think I'll call them today though. Thanks for the help.
The way I put the SWS on may be a little different but it worked for me. I started by lining up those pesky Freedom Top Bolt Grommets and putting the bolts down through the holes in the roll bar from the top down (I can't reccomend starting with this step enough). Then I worked my way around the jeep from the middle out, working the fabric out toward the corners of the roll cage as I went. It really helps if you have a partner to help keep even tension on both sides as you go. The back spiderballs were still the hardest ones to get on but I was able to get them on without using a tool to stretch the elastic to meet the ball. Once it was on I remoed the FT bolts and replaced the velcrow patches to reduce the tapping/flapping on the roll bar.
In the alternative, I have read that some people do the corners first and work thier way in to the middle with success. If all else fails, go ahead and call the guys at SWS. They are good people who want you to enjoy the product and I am sure they would be glad to give you some pointers.
I hope this helps.

Put an RR XHD bumper with stinger. Hitch will go on soon just ran out of time today. I also put a TeraFlex rear hinge and tire carrier on last week. My ACE rock rails and Rubi rails should be here this week.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I can tell you took your time with the prep they look really good. Do you recommend a certain brand if plasti dip? And how many cans did it take?

Thanks man!!! Actually bro not that bad. I used the wet method that I watched on YouTube. And just took my time with it. I don't know if its the same with window decals but the wet method is the way to go. It gives you time to play and adjust the decal exactly how you want it to go.

Killer decals!!! I'm looking at 33" or 35"'s. those look like really nice sizes on 2 or 4 door jeeps.

That's what I hear. Just gotta build up the stones to do it. I'm afraid to break any of the clips cause I'm sure they are all plastic.

I didn't do anything to the JKU today. I'll probably repaint the grill and maybe the fender flares this summer, but that will be after our trip to Hawaii to celebrate our 10th anniversary. But today I assembled my Father's Day present from my wife.

Awesome! I'm putting that lift on this Saturday. Any tips? How is the ride? Did you get the front adjustable track bar?
