Oh and had the front windows tinted last week too.

Still plan to take the SPORT decals off and have the full width end caps for my front bumper. Then we will see how long I can handle the fact that it looks strange with no winch in it yet.

This was last Tuesday.. stock as the come.. except for my rear bumper which I had swapped from my 2011 I traded onto my 2013.

That looks good. Nice transformation.

I added the Smittybilt XRC rear bumper, tire carrier and hitch. By the way, if anyone needs a stock 2012 JK bumper or Quadratec hitch PM me. I will be selling these items

Get a can of penetrol from the paint isle at your local hardware store and rub it on those fenders. They will look new again. And it lasts longer than back to black or products like it.

Can you use that on the interior trim on the floor next to the door, etc? No amount of scrubbing makes mine black again!

Working on a new way to fly a flag with or without top on. Gonna make it easy to take the flag pole out but leave the mount. I'm using 1-1/4" PVC pipe 2' long for the mount and a 1" flag pole. I'll try to finish mocking it up after work then hopefully paint it all black in the next week if it works

Tested a solution to allow Apple lightning products to work with the lockpick. It worked more detail when I finish the install. For the final solution I need to tap into a power source for my converter and I'm waiting for a part. Long story short for now, it took a lightning to HDMI adapter, hdmi to av converter and composite cable. Plus USB cable to power the converter.

Stubby antenna. Got the grill inserts. Have to re-route the winch cables to install them, though.

Missed it terribly. A 4 hour 730N nav install (owed from the dealer at purchase) has turned into days. Tomorrow will be day 3 of them trying to get it to program properly. They thought the sales code was wrong and waited forever for "detroit" to get them another code which then didn't work either. Now "detroit" has gone over everything and says the wiring needs to be done differently. I really hope tomorrow it all starts coming together and working right. Today I waved at a fellow wrangler from my rental jeep compass. Kind of did a half wave and save as I realized I wasn't in my rubicon. This all confirms for me that using my wrangler as a DD is the right choice as it is really not as fun to drive anything else.

...fingers crossed they get it right tomorrow.

Pulled the rear bumper, installed new Rubi shocks, pulled the front air dam. Painting the hideous muffler is next.

Thanks!
I've never known grill inserts to heat up an engine, and seriously doubt that they do. I think it's just a preference thing. Some like them, and some don't.

I highly doubt it. I've driven with mine through SoCal, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas...my temp gauge needle has never budged from it's normal spot on the gauge. Look at how many other vehicles that are out there that have even more restrictive grilles. And my grille is much more restrictive than most others i've seen on other Jeeps.
