Like someone said the other day, I had to put my doors back on after four days without and I don't like my jeep as much now. 30% chance of rain today in "New Seattle" (Jacksonville), with tropical a storm coming.
I hate rain.

Popped the doors off for the first time (easier said than done). Then pulled the interior and gave everything a good scrub. I was surprised by how easily everything came apart.

Pulled the trigger on a cab cover. Been threatening rain for two weeks and barely a drop. Average temp has been 85 with 80-90% humidity. Hate having the doors on and getting annoyed with the on again off again.

I love it so far. I have not owned a Jeep in about 20 years this is much different than my other Jeep. Only had it about a month and I am looking forward to taking it off road and getting it dirty, unfortunatly I live in NJ and finding good spots to go wheelin can be tough.

I need to do this, I've been back from the beach for a few weeks now, and the sand situation is still ridiculous lol

the carrier fits the stock backspaced wheel with the stock with tire pretty precisely, if the new tire was say 1/2 or 3/4ths wider it would have trouble.

Normally when you go up to larger AND wider tires you get a rim with a different backspace. If you stick with your stock wheels, you need to stay pretty much in the 285 range.

If his new tires are like 305 or something, its not going to fit on the carrier with the stock rim.

He's having problems with the rubber isolaters and the tail light...
Thanks for that clarification. I personally like my 17" stock wheels and currently run stock size, but in M/Ts. When those tires run out, I would like to go bigger, but don't want any issues.

He could buy a set of spacers and use one on the spare.

Nice! Did you go with pucks or new springs all around? I'm on Long Island and I get Quadratec's shipments next day. They're extremely efficient with their shipping.

I recently bought MB TKO wheels and 285/70-17 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's and it fit perfectly (measure exactly 33"). Not sure what the offset/backspacing is on these wheels but the tires are aggressive!

The angle of the picture shows the 3rd light cut off, but it's not...there is at least 1/8" of an inch above the tread lol.

I just went with the 2" and 1" pucks with sways. I plan on doing a AEV 2.5" coil lift in 28 months (jeep will be paid off). Just wanted something that would boost me up since I installed 33" MT/R's.

I would be happy if I got it before the weekend :-)

Right now its saying a 0% chance of rain all weekend. I will bring the soft top with me just in case but nothing will stop the rain coming in with the trail doors on

I just bought her a couple weeks ago, so this was more of a purge to get the wet dog smell out of my interior. It worked out well all things considered. The odor is gone, and I found a pile of change under the carpets. I guess I got a better deal on the Jeep than I thought!

I did the opposite of almost everybody, I have a 2 dr JK Sport, didn't have rock rails or side steps. I found cheap brand new 'used' EOM side steps that I installed yesterday. Mainly off roading to fishing spots on weekends and these don't impair its abilities for my use. These were to prevent rocks/dirt to be projected on my doors that were already showing signs of abrasion, will prevent door dents from others and providse me something to kick my boots on to remove slush in winter.
