Every other section has this stickied so I thought I would start one. Forgive me if its in there already but I could not find it.
Anyway here's what I did.
After removing the different cover for a routine fluid change I decided to paint the cover, it needed a little touching up so I thought I would go ahead and paint it red. I already had some farm equipment paint on hand, I'm pretty sure it will hold up to any temps that might be reached.

What make is your bull bar?
That's the MBRP grill guard. I am running the same one on my XHD bumper. They come with brackets for an easy install with the factory bumper. However, if you ditch the brackets it can be mounted to any bumper. Simply drill two (2) 1/2" holes in whichever bumper you choose and mount just the hoop with the same two bolts you used to attach it to the brackets.

Here is the link to it on Quadratec:

https://www.quadratec.com/products/12110_2000_07.htm

(FYI- They also sell just the hoop and two bolts minus the stock bumper mounting brackets. So if you are in the market to upgrade, or already have upgraded, your bumper than you could save yourself about $50 by ordering just the bar and bolts.)

Here it is on my JK:

Thank you. I was considering a smittybuilt modular front bumper with bull bar, but now thinking about stubbing my factory bumper and putting a bull bar on it, to save money towards new tires and a bestop trektop for summer.
