No words to express the beauty of this, so here is a picture.

Cant wait till the weekend. This gets installed, ARB front and rear lockers, 4.88 gears.

I installed the fuel door today. It was easy to install and fits well.

I also added some new decals to the fenders. I had already removed the old decals. I'm sure these won't be to everyone's liking but that's ok because my wife and I like them. That's what's great about jeeps. Make it like you like it.

Then the final mod of the day was to install the Drake grille inserts. I got them installed and didn't like them so I took them off. A couple of the inserts seemed a little larger than the others and no matter how I tried to arrange them a few of the brackets just seemed a little off. So I'll keep researching to find something different.

Have you taken your Jeep off road in Iowa? If so, where? I am researching models in hopes of purchasing one, but want to know where in (eastern) Iowa there are trails to use.

No, I haven't taken it out anywhere yet. I've only had it about 3-4 weeks though. I'm in the Iowa City/Coralville area and from the people I've talked to, and the things I've read it seems like places to go aren't easy to find. Public places at least...

Thanks, I guess I'm a sit under the palm tree and have a cocktail kind of guy. Plus the dogs love riding in the jeep too. Can't forget about them!

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get the jeep dog paw decal? I'd love to get one!

I have drake inserts in mine and i love them. You should try it with the grill off and flat on a table. They do fit a bit snug, but if you spend enough time with them they will fit and look great

Those are great rims. What brand are they and where did you purchase them?

On Sunday...

Bent my tie rod. I was able to get the toe adjusted back to spec (will double check measurement tonight) but I'm thinking I'm going to have to pony up for the HD upgrade. I don't want it bending every time I hit the trail.

Got a replacement tailgate bar for my bestop and installed it before the tropical storm was supposed to hit. Which was weak sauce on its own right.

Put new soft top on yesterday, sans windows. Put side windows on prior to departing the house. One hour down the road it starts raining so I put the rear window in. No probs. 30 minutes later sky is clear as a bell. Top down again Mr. Verse E. Tile
