Took Jocelyn up to Rowher Flats and on up the Rower trail to kill a little time and get some fresh photos of where she's at these days.

Saw a very pretty new looking white JK Rubicon, guy was going up Rowher at a pace that said he wants to break some parts to justify upgrades to the wife! Was it one of you guys?

Posed by the rock garden up top

There are a few more photos in the album if you want to look, but mostly its reshoots of these. No action shots today..>

Thanks! Post a pic of yours when you get it installed. I didn't put the Texas Flag on the passenger side. I think I'll put the blacked out version of the American Flag instead.

I put the us flag on my cowl area in both sides of by vehicle. Here is a pic.

I still need to figure out where I'm gonna put my Texas flags when I get them. I removed my sahara decals, maybe where it used to be....

I called the transmission shop to see how things were going. They had my Jeep up on the lift and were getting ready to take it down.

They'll break it open on Monday and find out why it shifts fine but the "rev limiter" (my term) isn't kicking in during 4th gear. The shop owner doesn't anticipate my problem is catastrophic....I hope that holds true.

Did this all start after your overhaul? Or did they decide that was unnecessary?

They haven't decided yet. The dealership told me I needed an overhaul. I wanted a second opinion so I took it to a transmission shop and told them the ordeal I've been through with a destroyed torque converter in the spring and the issues now.

He pulled the electronics panel off on Friday and didn't see anything there. His tech didn't feel any rough shifting or anything nasty besides the RPMs climbing in 4th gear when they should drop down below 2500. The owner told me he didn't think it was catastrophic mainly because I could still drive it and wasn't feeling any problems. I'm hoping all it needs is some new gears and it's ready to roll. They did tell me the fluid was dark, but not scorched yet.

Sounds like the tranny just isn't locking the TC as it should in 4th.

Get that fluid out regardless.

Rancho's new control arm drop brackets. Similar to AEV's but stronger and all hardware needed, including the upper bolt that's cut out. Bolts are shouldered for less slop/wear. Awesome brackets.
Really benefit a lifted 2 door

careful!!!! that mod isn't recommended! The weight of the 35 and extending the tire out using the adapter will create more fatigue on your tailgate.

Retuned cb antenna, and reversed my cooltech tailgate mount so my jeep could fit in my garage w/ the antenna mounted.

I learned a hard lesson yesterday. I've been driving to work naked. Since I support multiple locations for the company I have I drive my own vehicle. Well, I was kind of on a hurry to leave yesterday afternoon and just threw my backpack (with laptop inside) in my front passenger seat. I took a left turn, no different than normal, and my backpack tumbled out of the Jeep.

Luckily, my laptop still works.

Most of us didn't do it with a laptop... but most of us did it once.
