I've got the same rack and love it. Since I have the freedom tops taken off - I installed a JKini for just the front two seats but the wind deflector was making a lot of noise so I took it off... Not sure that made a big difference, may put it back on

Looks great - That rack is on my list... But the wife insists on all mechanical upgrades first. So it waits.

I'll shine them then spray a coat of clear over it to keep it shining.

I did 9mm before, but they were to short and didn't look nice. Besides, I like shooting my 1911 the best.
Thanks for the instructions, I gonna have to do this.

3Ft, Firestik 2, tunable.
Will install on the spare tire mount and I will build the bracket myself. I'm sure the TeraFlex is perfect but 35$ is just outrageous for a piece of metal.

I will install just one, not sure of which color will suits best on my white, white, black Moab.

For the CB, not sure, will be picked up locally here in Italy, but it will be small and cheap, just for use while offroading

Leveling Kit Installed - Finally!

Had the Teraflex leveling kit installed yesterday! Actually gave me about 3/4" more lift in the front than the back. Which is cool since I will be adding a new bumper in the coming months or so.

Also realized I need to keep a jacket in the Jeep for when the doors are off...62 degrees is a tad nippy!

Was there a rake before you installed the "leveling" kit? I am thinking about putting this on my yet to be received jkur but I'm not adding a new front bumper for a while so I don't want it looking like it's taking a dump!

I had been toying with the $$$ Gobi idea, but with an often-used soft top it seems tedious to have to tip it back every time I want to change the toppage. Since for now all I really want it for is the canoe, I might be better off with just the front light bar part and then getting a vertical T pillar for the hitch to hold up the back.

How easy is it really to tip back for roof access? Did either of you get the quick-release front connectors? Seems those should be the default and not extra $$$...

I think all JK's have a one inch rake in the front. I installed the Teraflex 2" leveling kit a couple weeks ago and love the stance now. I hated the rake look. And with 32" mud terrains I have all kinds of room for the wheels to articulate.

SirRyan said he got 3/4 more in front and by looking at his pick... It was not level but in fact had a backwards rake after the kit...

Yes...I had about a 1" rake in the front before. Pretty sure they all do from the factory. There is a slight backwards rake of roughly 3/4" now. Maybe a little less. Which again, is ok with me. I placed two 50 pound dumbbells on the front bumper, to simulate the rampage front I am going to use and that reverse rake went away.

Measured at the fenders or the pinch weld front and rear? It's been mentioned that the front fender gap is a bit more to level the look with the factory rake and the weld seam is a better place to measure for "level".

I measured from the middle of the fenders. I will try the weld seams later and give an update.

Did the front part(2") of the teraflex leveling kit on our '13 JKUR. Went from 2" lower in front to 1/4" lower at the pinch seam! It is 1/2" higher on front fender. Looks level so not planning on doing the 1" rear spacer.

No quick disconnects. I only take the freedom panels off and I can do that without removing the rack. This rack just gives the Jeep a different look that I like.

I got the quick releases in a free offer from Gobi over the summer. Haven't put them on yet as the rainy season is starting to hit the PNW and the top wont be coming off any more this year.

I noticed a real difference in driving with the wind deflector. Seems like it takes more pedal to get up to speed. I may take it off and do a test without it. As for noise, I don't really hear it.

Did you notice any difference in your sat reception? I did and I need to move it. I'm thinking its going on the hood somewhere. If you moved it, how easy was it? Thanks
