You can still switch it out - your new head unit should have Sirius and you can just swap the service over to the new device

Between yesterday and today, I installed my CB and my antenna. It is a SuperStar 121 and a magnetic mount antenna. Had to fab the bracket to make the magnetic mount work. I mounted it on the soundbar, but I did it so I didn't have to drill any holes. The only holes I made were when I mounted the antenna, which I mounted to the third brake light aluminum piece.

Looking in through where the driver's door would be.

Now looking in through the drivers rear window.

And then this is the antenna mount:

And with the gate shut, the whole mount and antenna:

I had to make the mount so tall because for the magnetic mounts to work at their best, the magnet part is supposed to be above the rest of the vehicle. I do plan on eventually getting a firestik antenna and getting rid of the magnetic mount and the piece that I fabbed up. I painted the mount with metallic aluminum wheel paint, which is almost an identical match to the billet paint on my jeep!

About 100 bucks and this fits into all the factory holes, nothing to drill or cut, and I have the MOAB hood also.

Found a pair of practically brand new Mopar enhanced rock rails for sale locally on Craigslist. They were pulled off a 10th Anniversary Rubicon that the owner bought new back in June. I scored them for $350! Put them on right then and there!!

After installing them, I thought I probably should've cleaned a little bit of the dirt n grime that now lives behind the rock rails and on the seam right there on the rocker. Oh well. I'm sure I will get it dirty again soon enough.

How much did you cut? I am at a crosswords now and either going to do flat fenders and 35's with no lift and clipped pinch seams for Metalcloak 3.5" and no tires. I can only do one more thing at the moment.

So tempted to do this. I am not happy with the 730n, the sound, or the GPS.
My main hesitation is the loss of steering wheel controls, and concern that the bluetooth phone integration won't work as well or sound as well to those on the other end of the line.

Also put on Trek Armor seat covers, Tuffy security deck lid, Tuffy under seat drawers, MPAC back door rack, Quadratec hitch, and Quadratec floor matts, back in July. Never posted pics but better late than never! The coyote brown seat covers matches Dune nicely.

That's why I went with the 130 radio. I new I'd eventually switch it out with either an iPad mini in the dash or a pioneer AVH-X8500BHS

I'm leaning toward this over TF too - don't know of I want to be drilling for just a hood strut. Looks great!

The rubicon rails bolt on super easy. 3 bolts go into pre existing holes in the rocker panel underneath the car. And there are 6 small screws that attach to the holes you see along side the body. Took all but 15-20 minutes to install. It's a cake walk of a job.
