Every other section has this stickied so I thought I would start one. Forgive me if its in there already but I could not find it.
Anyway here's what I did.
After removing the different cover for a routine fluid change I decided to paint the cover, it needed a little touching up so I thought I would go ahead and paint it red. I already had some farm equipment paint on hand, I'm pretty sure it will hold up to any temps that might be reached.

I specifically asked/reminded them to check the spare (and I had already checked cold pressures for all 5 tires over the weekend). Funny thing is, they said, "We don't think they run one (TPMS) in the spare."
They are idiots.

The spare has a sensor also. All of the sensors have a centrifugal switch on them. They transmit nothing if they are not rotating. The sensors use basically a little watch battery, and if they were always on, you'd be running them out of juice really fast. So when your tires are not spinning they are switched off. When moving they switch on.

The only reason the spare would be an issue would be if its switch was bad on the sensor.

These things are not magic - I can't believe your dealership is acting like the sensors are really hard to check. Wanna know if its it spare, thats easy. Take the spare off and leave it at home and go for a drive. If the light is still on after 10 minutes, then the spare was not the problem.

Took the doors off, added the Rocker Knockers, and Or-Fab rear bumper. Also dented my cowl..:)
I must say i was impressed with the quality and finish of Or-Fab, not so much with the finish of PS. The rockers had a few drips from welding and little spark particles all over. Fro twice the cost of the Or-Fab and all the raving i expected more.
Pics?

Also tested the wd-40 technique on the fenders....

You be the judge

Now to see how long it works

I had a light that wouldn't go off and it turned out to be my spare. They do have a monitor. Otherwise when you rotate your tires you would have an issue.
Just heard from the dealer. Apparently for the TPMS to work, one actually needs the sensors in the wheels. Who knew? ;)

I believe the dealer they traded with scavenged them for someone else and never replaced them.

Picking up "Arabella" this afternoon.

4.10 gears installed on the Jeep (from 3.21)... What a difference!!! I was smiling the whole way home from the shop!

No more luggy starts, better acceleration, no more clutch burning reverse, less lash back into the tranny while going slow, seemingly better fuel economy probably as I'm actually using all 6 gears now.

Oh and I thew in a rear Eaton E-Locker for good measure.

I have never been so happy with my Jeep :)

:rofl::rofl: This makes me so happy considering I'm picking up my new Rubi tomorrow with 4.10's. I'm coming from an '08 with 3.21's.

You will be happy for sure. I'm not planning to go bigger than 33s so it's the perfect gear for me.

My girlfriend was driving behind me and even she noticed that I was driving a lot smoother.

There's a lot of little things that I hated about driving the jeep that suddenly disappeared just from this regear.

It's like Chrysler only test drove the sport model with 29s, 3.21, automatic, and assumed it'll be fine on 32s with manual and called it a day.
