What do i need with my lift

K so. Lookin to get a 3" synergy lift for my 2011 jkur. It's a long arm. Other then maybe a better steering stabalizer kit, what are recommended mods to go along with a lift like this. Pritty sure the drive shafts are good up to 3 inches but correct me if I'm wrong. Got the 4:10 gears. So will those be alright? Obv tires. But to make this a good functioning lift. I wheel pritty hard. What else should I be budgeting for along with the lift n tires ??

Skid plates and recovery gear.

Otherwise, post up a link to the lift. Most long arm kits are pretty complete.

You'll need wheels/tires obviously.

If you've got an auto trans it's still pretty undergeared even with 4.10s, so if you're headed to big tires you'll probably want a regear. Maybe c gussets too.

With 3" of lift you may run into driveshaft problems eventually if you wheel a lot, but probably not right away.

Maybe start here: http://www.quadratec.com/category/Je...s/26/index.htm

Oil pan, diffs, t-case maybe. Evap canister maybe as well. An entry skid would be good too. Some sliders. Bumpers are good.

Use you judgment. A lot depends on what you do and where you do it, and you budget. Jeeps can do a lot stock.

Lots of good brands out there, really.

What's that Evan thing exactly do anyway. I got ARB diff covers n sliders n a front bumper already. I was just concerned about little things that might arise after I lift that I didn't think about yet.

Evan? I got a nephew named Evan. He's 2. Doesn't know Jeeps from Jello. Moot point, since he's not a thing and does little more than craps and laughs and generally pretends like he's cute, till you pick him up, and then...BANG!

Anyway...

You talking about a skid plate for your evap canister, perhaps?

Feast your bifocals on this, pops: Jeep Evap Skid | Jeep Evap Protection | Jeep Evap Armor | Poison Spyder Customs

Basically, your evap canister is filled with charcoal, which absorbs fumes from your gas tank and vents it when your Jeep's onboard computer (yeah, I know) tells it to. If there's a problem with it – like getting crushed against a log, you will get a CEL, or the dreaded exhaust system light. At any rate, it's not good. There's a stock evap canister skid plate, but it's kinda lame. The link in my post above will hook you up with the de facto evap skid plate of all time, the mack daddy of evap skid plates, the bom...

I dare you to click on it.
