I absolutely love this Jeep and have a few questions for the owner about the lift with the oversize tires and OEM wheels... I saw it and cant remember who is lucky enough to own it... can anyone lead me in the right direction of who to contact? Thank you

I don't know who's jeep, but....

It looks like it is on a 2.5 inch lift, stock rims wrapped in Goodyear Duratrac 285's with wheel spacers.

How can they be 12.5" wide tires on a stock rim that is 7.5" wide? I have never heard of tires that wide on rims that narrow.

This is what holy_crap sent me on the details:

TeraFlex 2.5" Coil lift on top of the TeraFlex spacer leveling kit
The tires are 35x12.50x17 Fierce Attitude M/T
The shocks are Fox IFP 2.0 Racing Shox.
Spidertrax 1.5" spacers

All of which I ordered as his Jeep is impressive looking!

I agree they look good. I was trying to decide if I wanted to spend the money on new wheels or just get bigger tires for the stock ones. Both jeeps on this thread look good. I think I will just get the wheels painted black and put 35s on them once I get the lift done this summer.

So the 12' Rubicons came with 17 x 8" wheels?

As someone mentioned previously, those are off a Mountain edition. I have a 2012 Rubi and the wheels that came with it are called Mineral Gray, and hardly as dark as those.

I wouldn't mind getting a hold of some of them. Think they look sharp, especially on a white jeep. I plasti-dipped mine black, but the novelty of an all black wheel is wearing off for me. I see these Carbon wheels or some ATX186 Slots in my near future.

You think there going to measure the tire and rim and say opps he did worng buy mounting on a half inch to small of a wheel.
The shop I go to always has something to say about my 12.5 on a 8"
Their manufacture --which I think is Cooper--recommends a 10"
He says my wheels are too small for my tire
