What have I done!!!

Hi all. Wondering what is happening, maybe I have a problem. I am also a watch guy and I went over board with buying more than a few rolex watches. I have yet to recieve my wrangler and I have already gotten :
-Navigation system
-Lockpick with both cameras

-2.5" Rock Krawler lift
-AEV module
-AEV Savegre Wheels (17" black)
-Bilstien shocks
-BFG KM2 33"

I think I have lost my mind!!! I haven't even gotten the jeep

Anyone have either the wheels or tires they can show pics of?

Anyone else do something like this???

Nope, unfortunately I did not do that. Sure wish I would have though. If I had ordered mine, I can guarantee that I would have done the exact same thing.

As for those wheels, you will get more than your fill of pics by clicking THIS.

You think we all just leave them stock??

Here's a good place to start with lots of pics: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/jk-...ews-25157.html

You're proposing using high quality parts to achieve a reasonble (and not at all uncommon) amount of lift height and tire size. I'd expect you'll be happy with the set up. What information/opinions are you looking for?

Just wanted to see if others had made major purchases without having their jeeps, thats all. Also, some opinions with the mods, somewhat like you did!

I couldn't express this stuff to my wife so I figured this would be the best place!!

As far as the link, that is where I started my research on what I wanted to get!!!!

Retail therapy.... did you feel good afterwards at least?

I like a little euphoria with my breakfast.

This thread makes me miss that big brown UPS truck, it's boxes beckoning like the northern star in the dark of night, the tape ripping like wrapping paper one Christmas morning... Wait, what was this thread about

I can relate somewhat. I was over in Afghanistan as a contractor for one year. Purchased a 2012 Wrangler, paid it off - and it sat at a dealership for almost 3 months waiting for me to get back.

I used a boat load of willpower and only bought Smittybilt XRC side rails, a quick release kit for the hard top screws and a Procal module.

Of course, the week I got back, I got the wheels, tires, lift, etc etc.

Between the Jeep & the Harley - I'm screwed. Good thing the GF makes decent money too

Shoot after I got out of bootcamp I had 3000 bucks in the account.....as soon as I got to a school and got my computer I spent 2000 on parts....then all through a school bought more and more parts. Then finally after being in the navy for 8 months I went home to a SBC 350 a built 700r4 and adapted for my tcase a huge pile of parts and a jeep missing a drivetrain

Where did you find the room to fit a Bowflex in your JK?
Maybe if I put my Bowflex in my JK I would get more use out of it?

Most of what's currently on my Jeep is in that photo (minus the tires, and few items I've bought since).

The Bowflex was FOR my JK. When I drove it off the lot it was a veritable 98-lb weakling. But now...

Gotta make sure you have that BowFlex on the back of the Jeep for a mid-adventure workout

That's also a sweet bike.

Range of emotions while ordering this morning:

19/60 springs - Bam! shipping immediately (heroin rush of something getting boxed up somewhere for me)

Tactical Survival Backpack - Bam! shipping immediately (remorse on buying something the wife wants but I don't really care about)

Tactical Trauma Backpack (Military Equipment / Tactical First Aid Kits)

Full Traction Leveling Kit - Two week back order (Bam! relief that the credit card will have a brief respite, as I can see smoke starting to come off of it)

Bilstein 5100's - back ordered since February (anger & disbelief that I'll have to delay my lift project until some undetermined point, immediate dispersion of credit card relief like a fart in the wind)

I just finished putting the 19/60's and RS9000XL's on my JK. Love the firm ride. No longer dives at the stop sign. Had 14/56's and stock shocks with BFG tires. Gained 1.75" in front and 1.3" in the rear. Only shocks and new Mopar 19/60 springs to retain my Lifetime Warranty.

I just put a couple after spring/shock mod pics in my profile. Pic no1 and no4. Pic no7 was taken just before the new springs and shocks.

Wow, that's a pretty decent jump. I'm starting to wonder whether I'll look goofy running stock 32's with the new springs and leveling kit. Only one way to find out I guess.
