What I got for Christmas

Driving home after dropping off my daughter and her fiance Christmas night, I had a little run in with one of Santa's reindeer...LOL!

So, I'm debating over having a bodyshop fix it or find a door that's already steel blue, put some aftermarket fenders on it, and buff out the rest.

Anyone have a line on a steel blue door?

That sucks...

Deer need to ease off the vodka this holiday season.

I almost clipped one out by the airport this a.m. in the snow, except it would've been a frontal collision, in which case my MASSIVE STEEL Rampage bumper, which is HUGE, and forged from IRON, would've sent his drunk ass down for a dirt nap.

I actually hit him with the bumper to his shoulder, the headlight lined up with his neck just behind his head. That flipped him into the side of Jeep quite violently at highway speeds. I was shocked to see that only the road grime was "wiped" off of the bumper and after driving an hour home, accruing more salt and grime, I couldn't even tell the bumper was touched.

Sucks man, but just means it is time to mod it some more! I think Mr. Wolf is partial to the rampage, and i can't blame him because it is AWESOME!
I just got some Bushwacker flat fenders and am awaiting a weekend warm enough to slap em on. Good luck!

I haven't taken a look to see if the metal behind the plastic is bent. It's highly likely that the metal bent and the plastic sprang back to shape.

I read in another post that one member was modifying his stock bumper, making it into a stubby and that the parts outside frame on his bumper were just plastic with no metal structure. But, when I was under it installing the lift kit I could see that mine had metal all the way out to the edges. Perhaps some Jeeps have heavier duty bumpers than others if what I read was correct; I don't know.

Bumpers are definitely on my list. And if I go with aftermarket fenders it's definitely going to be the Bushwacker flat fenders. To me they look good on every Jeep I've seen them on. You'll have to post some pictures when you're done!
