What is the correct antenna thread adapter?

What is the correct antenna thread adapter to convert an antenna with 3/8 x 24 threads to fit into the stock fender mounted antenna base?

Thanks,
KB

If I understand you correctly, you want to unscrew your OEM whip antenna and screw in your 3/8-24 antenna, right? In this case, you will need a male 5/16-18 to female 3/8-24 adapter.

Haven't a clue on where you can find one though.

Regards,

I would have thought that was going to be a custom do-it-yourself piece.
I was suprised. 2 second search.
Vermont Abrasives Inc. ::...
And cheap.

My thoughts also.....thought it was going to be time to break out the aluminum stock and program the milling machine.

At just a tad over $3 and S/H, I will probably get one for possible future projects.

Thanks Sparky.

KayBee: Did you ever find the adapter you needed? According to the VermontAbrasives site, mininum order is $50 so don't know if you went that route.

Thanks.
