what is this part?

i have thisin my glove box, what is this?

Thats the bag it came out of? Try searching mopar parts site with part number or just google mopar and part num

It's the part that holds the bolt for the hard top. If you look where the bolts are there is piece like that. They slide in and out and clip on the side of the Jeep
(where the carpet meets the side of thejeep inside). Basically it fits between the carpet on the side where you set the hardtop down on.

Yep, you need to pop it out in order to put in the velcro to secure the soft top.

??? There's no velcro securing my soft tops....

When I first looked at that part I didn't get the scale of the picture and imagined a part 6" long!
