What is this thingy?

Hey I found this on the floor of my 2011 unlimited (bought it used). Anyone know if it belongs to my Jeep or is it just something the former owner left in there?

If you have a hard top, It's what the screws thread into. They clip on the underside of the holes that are around the lip, the hard top attaches to..

That appears to be one of the nut assembly's for your hard top. They sit under the rail where your hard top bolts on. Don't throw it away!

The 2 back ones on my 12' always fall out after I take the hard top off. The rest are "captive" and can't just fall off. No idea why they designed it llike that???

I just throw them in the "hole" under the rear mat next to the bolt storage.

I screw the bolts back into them and that holds them and the bolts into a place I know where to find them next time I put the top on
